  • Episode 207: The Eastburn Family Murders | Discovery
    Jun 15 2025
On Mother's Day 1985, a call came into the Cumberland County Sheriff's Department that neighbors had not seen a mother of three, nor her three children in days. When they had gone to check on the welfare of the family, they could hear the youngest of the daughters crying. When they had looked through her window, they saw the toddler alone, wailing, desperately seeking comfort. A deputy came to respond to the distressing call, but it would not be the condition of the poor child that would shock the city of Fayetteville, it would be the horrors that lay beyond her room.

  • Episode 206: Lauria Bible and Ashley Freeman | Solved
    Jun 1 2025
The history of Craig County Oklahoma is filled with stories of sadness and chaos.
Today we will be discussing another time that blood was spilled on the dirt of Craig County, but this time there was no massive conflict or war, this was an entirely different kind of modern tragedy for two families in late December of 1999. It was an exciting time, not only was it one of their 16th birthdays but they were on the precipice of new millennium, an exciting new year. To celebrate this the girls planned a sleepover. The night was supposed to be filled with whispered secrets, junk food and laughter, but instead it encompassed their final hours, which were marked by unimaginable terror.

I love listening to this podcast. I started last April when I started working 3rd shift. The crazy good stories get me through the night. I’ve now listened so much that I have to wait for a new episode each week. I don’t mind the wait though!

I look forward to your stories

I listen to several true crime podcasts and true crime. couple is by far my favorite. I love kay's voice and accent and the way that she tells the stories- always respectful of the victims but keeps things interesting all the way through.

I really like this podcast.

The cases are very well-researched, written and told. They're just chock full of details and information. Even the most famous cases are worth listening to again. There is nothing shoddy about this podcast, they really do their work. I found myself wondering how on earth they find the time!

There are ton of cases I'd never heard before.

The presentation is very good. Straightforward but not boring. She knows how to just tell a good story. There is minimal banter, I get the feeling she really knows the world of true crime and isn't just jumping on a bandwagon.

The Narration gets knocked down one star because the sound is not good--please get better microphones!!

Best True Crime Podcast I've Discovered Recently

Your voice is also beautiful, even when you’re sick lol ❤️ John- I love your commentary. It’s funny sometimes and sometimes I’m thinking the same thing you are lol. Plus, your voices complement each other and That’s huge when you’re listening and not watching. For me it is anyways. I love how in depth these stories are and Kay is always so respectful of the victims and I love that.
