Powerfully Candid Interview!

The interview in this episode is SO candid and powerful. Elizabeth is a warrior from enduring these abuses against her from her own husband. She knew she HAD to leave to shield her children from the further violence at the hands of their own father. I can't express enough gratitude towards God for saving these kids and her lives.

As a dv survivor myself, I couldn't imagine NOT having any resources within the community to escape. She's so brave! Not only did she survive but she overcame. She endured hell and violence to protect her boys and herself. As a pregnant woman, she didn't have proper resources, but refused to continue living in fear. She faced being ostracized and shunned from her family and community for pursuing safety. I'll say it again, she's a warrior.

Thank you for sharing your story Elizabeth. If you can touch one person by sharing your story, in this candid manner, other lives can be saved. Great interview thank you True Crime Daily.
