True Crime the double murder at the Hundley House that happened in Carbondale Illinois on the Nite of Dec. 12, 1928. James Charles Hundley and his wife Ella were found murdered in their home that was a beautiful Victorian three story home. There is speculation and rumors that the son Victor Hundley had something to do with the double murders and that he was having an affair with his stepmother Luella and that she would leave the door unlocked for Victor Hundley so he can come in when Charles Hundley his father wasn't there so they could mess around. The House is said to be haunted by Charles and Luella but who knows it could be by other the other people's spirits that have lived in that house since after the murder took place. There has been witness accounts of gun shots going off in the house, the stereo and tv coming on by itself and there is one account that the guy Jones had his furniture all moved in and he returned home from having dinner with a friend and he was going up to his room and noticed the DVD player was on and the word Welcome was stuck on the screen. Jones said that when he checked the DVD player it was unplugged. There is a video on YouTube of ghost hunters investigating this house. I have never done a ghost hunting investigation in this house, but I would love to bring my group here and check it out for myself.
