Craig and Matt are joined by two very special guests on this week's Cherry Picking as they look back at one of the most famous seasons in the history of AFC Bournemouth, the 2014/15 Championship winning season.

We welcome Cherries legend Marc Pugh and former sports editor from the Daily Echo Neil Meldrum, who wrote the fall and rise of AFC Bournemouth on to the show to give their expert and professional views of this season first hand.

Pugh gives us his views from the players perspective of playing in one of the clubs most talented squads in our history, we remember complete performances like the 8-0 win at Birmingham, beating Blackpool 6-1, thumping Fulham 5-1 at Craven Cottage to one of the most famous nights at Dean Court beating Bolton 3-0 before lifting the trophy at the Valley.

International break is now over and San Marino have been promoted for the first time ever in the Nations League! Oh yeah, and we managed to beat Greece and the Republic of Ireland to get back to where we should have never so dramatically fallen from a few years back.

Onto proper football and this weekend, AFC Bournemouth are back in action as our friends down the South Coast (not the one with Fraser in their ranks, don't panic), Brighton & Hove Albion visit Dean Court. Last season we got a convincing victory but to be fair the Seagull's were depleted with injuries and fatigue at the end of a long season in which they ventured into Europe.

We welcome back on Damien Hills - also known as TikTok Albion Fan Seagull Damien (https://www.tiktok.com/@seagull_damien) for a chat about Fabian Hürzeler and his new side as they once again defy the odds, sitting pretty at the moment in 6th.

One of the hot topics in the media and world of football at the moment is that of referee David Coote who has been seen in two separate videos - the first calling legendary Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp a certain word and discussing his dislike of the clubs fans but the second showing him taking what appears to be a white powder (we cannot confirm if this is Daz or Flour).

However a bigger point has been made from this whole debacle, and that is this... what about the referee's mental health. Whilst there is no denying what was said was wrong and his choice of friends obviously is poor, the media attention and abuse he has received can only have a negative effect on the man.

There is no doubt that his career as a Premier League Referee and probably as a Referee in any league is probably over, but here Craig opens up the other important points when discussing this sad and serious case.
