Something wicked - and analog - this way comes. This Halloween season, Jacob and Matt are embarking on an ill-advised odyssey through the first instalment of the storied V/H/S franchise, unpacking each and every musty short film within. In the first episode, the pair review the history of the series thus far whilst also reviewing the oft-celebrated debut segment Amateur Night. Jacob and Matt discuss their shared love of anthologies. Matt criticises each tape's slippery relationship with realism. In an act of futility, Jacob tries to expunge the troubling voyeurism from the film's opening minutes. Additionally, the pair attempt to dissect the film's elusive and garish wraparound film. Cover your eyes - Don't Stop Recording's 2024 Halloween miniseries has begun.
