VGK suffers first loss in seven games, but clinches playoff spot

  • Summary

  • The Golden Knights fell to the Edmonton Oilers Tuesday night at the Fortress 3-2, but Utah beat Calgary so VGK claimed its seventh playoff berth in 8 years. The Oilers netted three goals in the second period. There was a controversial Oilers goal by Viktor Arviddson in the second. VGK felt there should have been a stoppage in play as Arviddson hammered away at a puck underneath Adin Hill. After a VGK challenge the goal was upheld and the Oilers went on to win the game. We also discuss whether the workload has been too much for Adin Hill and we are going to be scoreboard watching to see who VGK will play in the opening round of the playoffs, after they clinched their seventh playoff appearance in eight years.
