As a coach, he has led the St Kilda Pumas and Brisbane Bullets to two championships each. Brian is the founder of Brian Kerle Basketball, an organisation that offers excellent coaching and clinics to devoted players throughout the year. He is also the founder of the BK Owls in Brisbane which competes in the Southern Districts Basketball Association competition in Carina and also in tournaments all over the world.
