Curt is visiting from Iowa for a regional training of land pros centered around Deer Steward Level 1 certification through the National Deer Association (NDA). Together, they dive into Curt's beginnings and how he got into the outdoor/hunting industry. 2024 Spring Turkey Season Opener! Shawn and Mike get together for opening morning and head to "Turkey Ridge"! Yes, the same Turkey Ridge where Shawn killed his 10 pointer with the bow last fall! The name rang true as 5-6 gobblers erupted, causing Mike and Shawn to change strategies! Shawn has been promising to call Mike in his first bird and he certainly held up his end of the bargain. In fact, he called in two! An opening day double! What a way to start the season!

They spend time chatting about how Austin got started and some of the equipment he uses.  He shares some great tips that he has learned along the way. Austin started hunting some public land hunting this year and had great success with a 10 pointer. They discussed how spring time scouting is the key for public land, which also a great time to look for sheds!
