About this listen
Have you noticed a drop in the number of Magpies in your area, well there's a reason for it.
According to WA Wildlife CEO Dean Huxley an unknown illness is putting the future of the Magpie in jeopardy. Huxley and his team have seen over 900 birds presented to their centre in the past four months with an unknown neurological syndrome.
With no fix in sight we might have to consider a life without Magpies in WA.
