The ripple effects from that report are still unfolding more than seven years later. The three journalists who worked on the story - Helene Cooper, Leslie Kean, and Ralph Blumenthal - somehow managed to overcome decades of government disinformation, scientific ridicule, and editorial scorn to get the story into the paper. Blumenthal, a brilliant, award-winning newsman, staked his reputation and career on that one report. How did he and his colleagues pull it off? What other secrets did they uncover that never made it into print? In a candid and highly personal conversation, Blumenthal reveals to Jeremy and George the difficulties that confronted the three journalists, including blowback from their colleagues, arguments with editors, and the conspiracy theories espoused by the loudest voices in the always rancorous UFO community. Great Content With One Distraction

First off, a podcast with Knapp and Corbell at the helm is just a perfect recipe for a great, informative and intelligent show. The combined investigative talents alone draw me to want to listen.

My only gripe is the regular use of F-bombs. They are just not necessary to express excitement of the subject matter and I don't think they contribute in any way positive to the credibility of the presenters. I certainly don't want my elders to hear them as I attempt to pursuade their opinion with the information you provide.

Bummer

I want to like this I really do, but I just can't focus on anything Jeremy is saying. He likes to hear himself talk more than he cares about the topic and it overshadows the importance and hard work behind the content their presenting us. He ruins the whole podcast for me.

going downhill fast

was hoping to hear about uap research and instead was treated to an episode on obscure country music. I was excited when this podcast came out but... probably not listening for a while.
