• 1. What Is the Original Sin of Humans? (Mark 7:20-23)
    Nov 11 2022

When we really understand humans, we realize humans are all a mass of sin. Humans are the seeds of lewd sin that cannot but commit sin throughout the entire life. Therefore, humans commit sin filled with lewdness, pride, evil thoughts, hatred, murder, theft, and all kinds of evil sins. Would you believe if I told you humans are beings who do such things? Do you believe that humans are beings that swindle and steal much? Would you believe if I told you that humans are beings that commit adultery? Would you believe if I told you that you were such people?

  • 2. Is the Gospel Fulfilled By the Blood Alone, or by The Water, or by Both? (Exodus 12:43-49)
    Nov 11 2022

Both the Old Testament and the New Testament are equally important and precious to us, who believe in God. We cannot neglect even one word in the Old Testament. It is because all the Words of the Lord are the Words of life. And the Lord said, “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away” (Matthew 24:35).
Today’s Scripture passage tells us that whoever wants to keep the Passover has to be circumcised first. In other words, without getting circumcised, no one can participate in the Passover ceremony. We need to think about why God gave us such ordinance.

  • 3. The Relationship between The Ministry of John the Baptist and the Gospel of The Atonement of Sins (Matthew 21:32)
    Nov 11 2022

The Bible bears witness of John the Baptist in John 1:6-7, “There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. This man came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe.” As it’s written here, John the Baptist “came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all through him might believe.” The witness that John the Baptist bore was testifying that Jesus shouldered the sins of the world, and if he had not borne this witness of Jesus’ gospel of the atonement of sins, then it would have been impossible for anyone to believe in Jesus and, even if one did, it would have been all in vain. In speaking of John the Baptist, the Apostle John is explaining the gospel of the atonement of sins here, just as it is through someone who found Jesus prior to us that we also have come to know and believe in Him.

  • 4. What Is the Original Meaning of Being Born Again? (John 3:1-15)
    Nov 11 2022

There are many people in this world trying to be born again by believing in Jesus. But let me make it clear here first that being born again spoken of in the Bible does not depend on one’s work. Many Christians have a misconceived notion of what it means to be saved and born again. These misguided Christians think that there are certain requirements that they must meet on their own to be born again. For instance, some of them think that to be born again, they have to spend their entire lifetime to plant as many churches as possible; others think that they have to go abroad as missionaries and devote their lives to lead other nations to believe in Jesus Christ; and still others think that they would be born again if they dedicate their lives to God’s work without even getting married. There are countless Christians who think like this nowadays.

  • 6. The Lamb of God Who Takes Away The Sin of the World! (John 1:29)
    Nov 11 2022

What happened when Jesus was about to be baptized? It is written in the Gospel of Matthew 3:15, “But Jesus answered and said to him, ‘Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness. Then he allowed Him.’” Did Jesus really take all the sins of the world away when He received the baptism? It is imperative that we have a clear understanding of ‘the reasons and why’ Jesus received baptism. Only then will our faith be rooted firmly in God’s Word, and be able to receive the remission of sins that will wash our conscience and heart absolutely clean.

  • 5. The Changed Sacrifice (Hebrews 7:1-28)
    Nov 11 2022

There is a priest named Melchizedek appearing in the Old Testament. When we turn to Genesis chapter 14, we see Abraham taking an army raised and trained in his own house to wage war against Chedorlaomer king of Elam and other kings aligned with him, and rescuing his nephew Lot after defeating them all. At that time, on Abraham’s way back from the war, a priest named Melchizedek brought bread and wine to him and blessed him. So Abraham set aside a tithe of the spoils of the war and gave it to Melchizedek the Priest (Genesis 14:17-20).

  • 7. The Gospel of Atonement That Has Blotted Out All Your Personal Sins (John 13:1-17)
    Nov 11 2022

Why did Jesus wash Peter’s feet on Passover? While washing Peter’s feet, Jesus said to him, “What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this.” Peter was the foremost disciple of Jesus. He believed in Jesus as the Son of God, and he had once confessed to Him, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God” (Matthew 16:16).
There must then have been a reason why Jesus washed such a disciple’s feet. When Peter confessed that Jesus was the Christ, he was making a confession of faith, testifying that Jesus was the Savior who had atoned for all sins.

  • 8. The Primitive Gospel That Can Overcome The Sins of the World (1 John 5:4-9)
    Nov 11 2022

God has made it possible for you to overcome the world, prevail over sin, and defeat the Devil to live a victorious life by believing in the gospel of the atonement of sins fulfilled by Jesus. However, if you believe in Jesus while leaving out the gospel Word of the “water” of the baptism of Jesus, you cannot be saved from all your personal sins. That is why the Apostle John said in 1 John 5:5-10 that the faith that overcomes the world is the faith that’s placed in the water, the blood, and the Spirit. God the Father had passed all the wages of our sins to Jesus. Jesus had come to this earth incarnated in the flesh of man, accepted the sins of the human race through the baptism He received in the Jordan River, shouldered all the sins of the world on His body, shed His blood on the Cross, and thus paid off all the wages of the sins of mankind with His baptism and blood.
