The crisis in Australia is absolutely heartbreaking. Fueled by record heat due to the global climate crisis, several animal species are now endangerof extinction. The fires are estimated to have killed more than 20 people, burned 1400 homes to the ground, 12 million acres of land, and wiped out about a billion animals since september, including 8000 koalas.
