Rick shared with Justin that, "our goal is to create a world-class contract medical manufacturing business with the core capability around injection molding. We're using that as our starting point in our hub, and then we're looking to add additional capabilities and capacities out from that that are important and very value-added for our customers." As most CEO's will attest, the key to a successful relationship with customers, is to become a part of their team. "It really begins at the front when we're given the opportunity to be part of the development process, to be working shoulder to shoulder with their engineers and design implications of parts when we're helping to recommend the types of materials that they're going to be using for different purposes or different functions. Then we're also keeping in mind the types of volumes that we've got to manufacture for them in the way that it's got to be produced in order to deliver its functionality, but also be able to be produced at a price point that's going to work for that given application in the market."
