This is the 10th episode of What Would You Tell Her? Podcast. The journey of this podcast from conception to the completion of a first season has been something that I have dreamed about for a while, and never knew that I could actually make happen. This is my bold attempt at telling you that if there is something that you want, but you are terrified … do it scared, do it because you believe in yourself. Make peace with the notion that you may fail miserably and then you’ll pick yourself up and try it again. To all of my wonderful friends and listeners, thank you for believing in this vision with me.

On our season finale, my two incredible daughters sit down and pod with me. I get to have a conversation with my Big and Little answering listener submitted questions and a few of their own questions. This was an honest dialog between the women of the Reed household. We discuss how we built our relationships and the individuals we are today.

On a personal note, this podcast is woman focused, but I would be remiss to not include a very important man. Gregory Reed, your belief in me gave me the courage to pursue this. Your encouragement of my skills buoyed me through times when I was utterly unsure of myself. Your commitment to helping me handle the editing load shows you care about the product I hand the world. Thank you for being my Boyfriend.

Please enjoy episode nine of What Would You Tell Her? Podcast. We are so grateful to have you here. On today’s episode you will get to know my dear friend, Lisa Denham.

Lisa is a wife, mom, sister, and friend. When she's not busy with work, Lisa treasures every moment spent with her adorable grandson, daughters, family and friends. In her pursuit of fitness and leisure, Lisa enjoys her gym and is excited to embark on a new adventure: learning golf!

Lisa and I discuss the intricacies of female friendships throughout the decades. We talk about the transient nature of some relationships early on in your 20s. We share our lived experiences of the types of friendships in your 30s and include how the shift in those friendships can be impactful.

With a great deal of mixed emotions, Lisa and I talk about the gift of our female workout group the BARBELL BABES. We pay tribute to our beautiful friend who we lost just the day before this interview. We dedicate the entirety of this episode to Paula. We love you, Paula Campos.

    Enjoy.

Thank you for joining us for episode seven of the What Would You Tell Her? Podcast. This episode was recorded in Albuquerque in the home of my beautiful lifelong friend Erin Kay.

You will hear Erin and I reminisce about our early days. We will talk about the big events that have profoundly changed us over 43 years of friendship.

One of those life altering events happened in January 2021. Roger Kay, Erin’s husband of 20 years, tired from his battle with COVID, passed away. Erin has spent the past 3 1/2 years learning how to recalibrate her life. Her two beautiful children are her motivation to “keep f’ing going”. She has found parts of herself she didn’t know existed. Erin talks about how therapy and journaling are some of the tools she has used to process her and her children’s grief. I appreciate her taking the time to sit down with me as we remembered Roger.

    Enjoy.

We are grateful you are here today for our sixth episode of What Would You Tell Her? Podcast. Adrienne McHenry pops by for a chat. She came with all the accessories one might need to calm their spirit, including bra crystals. She is so very much fun and we have a great time together.

Adrienne is a mother of two littles ages 5 and 6. She is a semi-retired dental hygienist living in Phoenix. In her spare time, she teaches yoga sculpt at a local Chandler studio. Adrienne is described as fiery; however, she likes to say she is passionate. She is married to her best friend who lovingly went through the journey to parenting together. They both enjoy staying active, and Adrienne is now training for her first powerlifting competition with Caroline!

Please enjoy episode five of What Would You Tell Her? Podcast. Jacqui Hanford joins me in the guest seat today.

She has been in the fitness industry since 2008. She has her Personal Training Certification, her Kickboxing Certification, and her Group Fitness Certification with AFAA. She has additional training on the BOSU Ball, Senior Fitness, PiYO, (a pilates/yoga program), and on the TRX suspension system.

Her passion for fitness and form on the exercise floor has led her to get FMS Certified and in January 2018 to become a CrossFit Level 1 Trainer, and a CrossFit Gymnastics Level 1 Trainer.

Jacqui is the mother of two young men and was actively involved in the training and coaching for their high school sports teams. She also loves being a student and is always looking for the next opportunity to learn and grow. “To see people reach their fitness goals and experience breakthrough moments is priceless, fitness is my passion.” Currently she teaches a resistance class at Mesa Community College that starts with the basics of movement and movement patterns and ends with performing olympic and power lifts.

Building strength and confidence is her primary message to everyone that wants to feel better, look better and be better, on the inside and out. Jacqui trains people of all ages and has been a coach and mentor for many teenage girls. She has always been interested in health and fitness and will continue to find ways to educate and empower women specifically, to be strong and independent.

On the fourth episode of What Would You Tell Her? Podcast we meet Crystal Jimenez. This kind, resilient and hilarious woman casts her fears aside and agrees to sit down with me and discuss her beautiful family. She walks us through the joys and pain of caring for a terminally sick child. I asked Crystal what she wanted people to know about her.

In her own words: A mother of 3 beautiful humans Diego is my angel in heaven, Cristian is my sensitive soul and Sienna is my mirror but an upgraded version. I move with love & adventure in everything I do. With a resilient spirit and unwavering loyalty, I tackle challenges head on and always strive to make the most of every opportunity that comes my way. I’m a firm believer that everyone deserves to be loved & seen and I’m passionate about bringing fun, laughter and positivity into the lives around me. I see life as a constant evolution, a series of moments that mold us into the individuals we are meant to become. Every experience whether it’s joyful or challenging, teaches us valuable lessons that transforms us.
