Republicans clearly had a big night on Tuesday across the country, including in Pennsylvania. The result could be a Trump White House paired with Republican control of Congress. The countdown is on for a possible SEPTA strike Friday morning, and the School District of Philadelphia is making contingency plans. Some 55,000 students ride SEPTA to school each day. The iconic SS United States could be departing a South Philadelphia pier next week for its final voyage to become an artificial reef in the Florida panhandle.
