  • 16 Blocks (2006) - People can change, Jack.
    Jun 14 2024

You're driving in a hurricane and you see three people at a bus stop... a scenario posed by Mos Def's character in today's discussion of the action/thriller, 16 BLOCKS (2006), touching on topics of police reform, fate, and human beings' capacity to change. The distance may be 16 blocks, but the path is much longer.

Sorry for the short episode this week. Ricardo had some internet connection issues that we needed to cut around, but the pod still lives on. Please enjoy our (mostly Meaghan and Seth's) discussion of INTERVIEW WITH A VAMPIRE (1994).

Interesting philosophical discussions often happen

I enjoy this podcast. The hosts often have different takes on movies that I never considered.

My only complaint is the use of music beds. I can barely understand the intro every week, and often tune out for it.
