Choosing the Presence of God above all else is a recurring phrase I use in introducing each of the Episodes in Season 1. But what does it mean and where does it come from? These questions will be answered in this episode. The Bible text referred to, is Exodus Chapter 33.

I was asked this question by an Intercessor who felt called by God to Pray for the people of Gaza - Can I pray for the people of Gaza?

She had heard from preachers encouraging people to focus their prayers on Israel ignoring the suffering of those in Gaza; that Israel's actions align with God's plan.

Here is the Biblical answer I gave to her question.

We have heard from Tommy Kelly telling the story of Wellspring in Derry and Terry Hogg who told of Coricale in Belfast now it is my turn to tell of The Gathering in Galway. I will be completing the narrative of the Celtic, Organic, or Indigenous Church in this Land of Saints and Scholars. I will outline our shared message: choose the Presence of God first and to meet God face-to-face we must have a face.

Terry and I discuss why John's Gospel was so favored by our Celtic Monks. We get into What is Celtic Spirituality or the Christain Spirituality unique to this Land or Saints and Scholars; and how it is developing today.

Terry and I discuss the Desert Fathers and Mothers and how their way of life relates to the Celtic Monks of our past. How they build communities inspiring the Celtic communities in Ireland.

They were determined to follow the Lord 'Into the West' in keeping with the Truth of Penticost 'that all hear in their own language'. Now, I have come to ask Terry - what has the Lord shown them.

Tommy Kelly Pastor and Artist speaks about his art and ministry as Founder of Well Spring - A Christian and Celtic Community Church in the Bogside, Derry. Tommy, tells of the conflict between being a founder of Well Spring and his work as an Artist; and how that conflict within himself has been somewhat resolved.
