    Massachusetts has a shadow on its history, that of the Fernald School in South Boston, an institution designed to provide children with intellectual disabilities skills that they would be able to have a better life. A mission that changed over time, instead of providing skills ans support, the children were treated as lab rats, with some even tested with radiation.

As a history fan I love and appreciate the way Katie presents the subjects of her podcast. She’s funny, smart, and her voice is very soothing. As an American I also appreciate the way she explains things to listeners.

if you think the storys are enjoyable, her outfits are just as fun. when I was in school, most of the history stories were left out of the books due to not being in the core cirriculum. American learning system, where only the history on the test is important,
