I just can't, anymore

I love Bill Burr. I think he's a fantastic comedian and a great father. Even his "rough around the edges but heart of gold inside" is very endearing.
But... his political commentary has officially consumed his entire personality. For years, his political comments were a "side note" to his podcast and his life. I agreed with 70% of his views and still enjoyed listening to the 30% I didn't agree with because he still expressed those opinions in an entertaining way and I could see where he was coming from. Now, though? His podcast seems to be getting shorter and lazier. Just a few minutes before he says "okay, time for a throwback episode" and those few minutes are primarily him just talking politics. It's like a drug addict who can't seem to quit. He just keeps going back to it and can't seem to practice any form of moderation. Even if I lived what he was saying, I would still be getting annoyed because I don't listen to this podcast for political commentary. I listen while I'm working a manual labor job in hopes of a laugh. So it's only made wise that so much off that political commentary is now so out of touch unrelatable. I think I've finally got my limit. I've just got to stop listening completely. The laughs are gone.
