First, thank you, Chris for not including ads... it really madena huge difference. Not to mention the time you put into this podcast - it really shows how much you genuinely care about Kristin and her family. Other true crime podcasts should take note.

***Mini spoiler ahead (last sentence)***

I can't say enough about how well produced this is and how respectful, empathetic, thorough, and inquisitive Chris remained throughout the entire thing. Once I hit play, I listened every waking moment, staying up too late, and not stopping until it was over. I was invested and emotional: scoffing, crying, laughing where appropriate and this quickly became personal.


I just hope one day I hear the news that Kristin returns home.

This is an excellent personal investigation of the yet unexplained disappearance of KS. The scary thing about this and other similar stories is that there were SO many warning signs around Paul Flores. He was just arrested and charged recently, in 2021. Why did it take so long!? This podcast brought a lot of stories and reminders for us all to take to heart. Trust your gut. Report what you see. People who participated were very brave to tell their stories. Thanks!

The Kristin Smart case is beyond heartbreaking for her family and friends...and listeners. I was completely and thoroughly drawn into her life and the tragedy of what happened. The podcast is astonishingly well researched, consuming, and includes real-time interviews with many key individuals...investigators, Kristin's family, her childhood and college friends, peers of the suspects, audio excerpts from court proceedings, and much more. The audio and especially the sound effects are masterful! Truth is paramount and Chris Lambert lays it all out there!

I am obsessed with true crime. Serial was the first podcast to drag me in, and I have never let go. This podcast has set a new standard for me. I cannot begin to praise the research, writing, and delivery. I am so invested in this story, and I cannot wait to see the updates that come in the future. Please NEVER stop creating podcasts. This is truly a gift to your listeners, and such a beautiful tribute to a life taken far to soon. I hope her family is proud of your work!!
