Modern Russian Fiction

This collection, first published in 1917, features the works of 10 Russian poets who were active in the early 20th century. In the preface, the anthologist and translator, Paul Selver, writes: "It is hoped that this collection will convey a fairly adequate idea of the chief features in modern Russian poetry, a branch of Russian literature which has so far received very little serious attention in this country."

An American TV actress adopts a little Russian girl in St. Petersburg in 1994. The actress, Molly McKay, arrives to find a Russia struggling to become a free market democracy. She also discovers that the TV show she starred in back in the ‘80s in the U.S. is now a big hit in Russia, complicating an already harrowing adoption journey. Then there are the two handsome princes, one Russian, one American, and all the other fairytale characters who help or hinder My Russian Clementine.
