Good start to series featuring a Human woman kidnapped by aliens, sold at slave auction, rescued by other aliens who need her DNA as they can no longer reproduce.
Characters are definitely likable and the storyline works as long as you turn a blind eye to various holes in the action or writing. I’m a bit picky about those things, but I like this series enough to have purchased ebooks and audio.
Lamb does a decent job of narration. Her voice is good for Lacy and narration, not so much on male voices.

I love this book! All of the characters made logical decisions . The FMC was smart and held her own . There was plenty of banter and spice! I can only say this is a unique alien romance story because of the plot the way the abductions happened and how the story played out. I am obsessed def worth a credit and I hope more people get to enjoy this lovely book !

I read and enjoyed this series before, and this 3rd edition was an improvement, it was more detailed and 'polished'. The book is an enjoyable easy read about alien abduction, the heroine Lacey is having a very bad day! Lacey gets abducted while lost and finds herself on the slavers block, Arathians Kor and Ty save her only to discover she may hold the solution to their problems. I loved this book and was hooked from the first chapter, I couldn't put it down and finished it in one sitting, Lessa Lamb's narration brought the characters to life and giving them a wonderful depth of emotion. I can't wait to start the next book.

This is the first alien romance book I have ever listened to and the only reason I did is because Lessa Lamb is the narrator and I love her voice. Lessa did not disappoint, she is great. I did enjoy the book and it’s main Characters. Lacy is the only chance their people have to procreate so they have to keep earth protected from other aliens as well. HEA. MMF. I recommend this book.

I love how the characters are all strong in this book. There's not an Asshole alpha or a whinny female. A great story told by a fabulous narrator. Loving this series and so on that note on to the next book.

I'll admit i was skeptical at first. Maybe because the author and narrator were new to me but I was given a code for an honest review and wanted to make good on my commitment. I'm so glad I did! This story had everything I love. A unique story line, Hot, sexy romance, low angst and a great flow to the story. After finishing the first book, I can tell you that I gobbled up the 5 in the series pretty quickly and was immediately sad when I finished the last book. That is how you know a series is good. Luckily I found 2 more novellas from the same world in E-book format.

Now for Narration... I don't know about you but narration can make or break a story for me. I have a friend who suggested Lessa Lamb awhile ago and figured I would kill 2 birds with one stone with this book and narrator. I was blown away. She has quickly become one of my favorites! She makes it easy to distinguish between charters, She plays well to different character types, the emotion she puts into each chapter is spot on. Her male voice is really good and I know it's not always easy to narrate for the opposite sex. She really made this already great story more enjoyable. I highly recommend the series and the narrator and hope there are more books from this world coming!
