I really liked this story, I enjoy the bully trope and with a shifter/human romance I was onboard with this. I liked both narrators with one proviso they both sounded too mature to be 18 year old students.

This is the very first paranormal, wolf-shifter audible I have ever listened to. I am totally impressed by Renee Rose’s ability to immediately pull me into the family and personal trauma experienced by two high schoolers. Cole is a wolf-shifter; Bailey merely a human. Out of anger for his own situation, Cole decides to isolate and bully Bailey. To find out how it all turns out, I highly recommend you listen to this delicious story for yourself.

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. I am a fan of Renee Rose and this is an outstanding coming of age shifter romance story. She has written a story containing angst, heartache, guilt, family problems, bullying, sexual assult, sexual awakening and desires, shifter secrets, corrections of mistakes, and sensual love scenes. This is the type of story that you can't wait to see what will happen next and will want to listen to again. You will fall in love with Bailey immediately and eventually with Cole.

Wen Ross and Kai Kennicott are exceptional storytellers who will hold your attention throughout this book. Both of them will make you experience the emotions of these characters and become part of the story. I highly recommend this Audible book. The author's words and narrators' voices will make this story one that you won't forget.

I loved the character development, especially the introspection and growth. I was also impressed with the manner in which the young characters navigated their emotional turmoil and realizations.

Loved this new series by Renee. I have read all the Alpha books so far and this story line takes you to the Wolf Ridge High young adults. Can’t wait to read the next book.

This was an enjoyable story to play in the background while I worked on things today. It had some spicy moments and a few fast paced action sequences but there wasn’t any deep or emotionally impactful scenes.
The narrators were fun and the writing was okay. Overall it wasn’t bad.

Renee Rose melts hearts and incinerates panties with ALPHA BULLY, a scintillating bully romance with a shapeshifter twist! I have been an admirer of this author’s work for a while but this ingenious plot…an enemies to lovers werewolf romance set in a small-town high school was utterly SCRUMPTIOUS!

PREMISE:
Cole, a big, brawny football hottie, gives new meaning to the term GROWLY alpha but he’s more than just eye candy for a bevy of drooling cheerleaders. He runs the school and everyone knows not to cross him. Except one girl. Bailey. He has an ax to grind with the bookish virginal outcast--her mother stole his drunken daddy’s job--and he’s determined to wield his alphahole power over the high school misfit and make her pay bigtime. But he never intended on falling had over heels for the beautifully broken spitfire who he set out to ruin! Before long, loathing morphs into red-hot lust and he puts the kibosh on his plans for revenge and plans on ANOTHER form of torture. Mind bending pleasure mingled with a heady dose of dominance! While Bailey is the forbidden fruit and he fights every predatory instinct inside of him to keep from marking the pretty human, there’s just something about her that arouses his every protective, primal instinct and has his clamoring to claim her as his mate. MY MUSINGS:

Mmmm… this steamy shapeshifter talewas the bomb! I was immediately hooked by ALPHA BULLY from the onset. This fast paced and highly entertaining high school PNR romance was sweet and smoking hot and oh so spankilicious it had me hyperventilating! While this is the first NA romance I have read by Ms. Rose, I think she knocked it out of the park! Bailey and Cole have a captivating chemistry and their sparks sizzled from from page one! I love me a bully romance where the cocky, swaggeringly sexy high school bully sets out to break and conquer his innocent victim and Bailey was Cole’s prey in more ways than one! And while the bully aspect did not last long—Cole’s feelings for his pretty little human transformed pretty quick and he never reached full-fledged alphahole status in my opinion—I nevertheless thoroughly enjoyed this story because it had the best of what I love about Renee Rose’s books. Lots of scorching hot spanky times and shivers and feels galore! And Yum! Who can resist a forbidden love story fearing a rough around the edges alpha werewolf with a heavy hand but a mega huge heart who is pitted against a sweet, sassy heroine who quickly melts his iron defenses? The connection between these two was amazing. Both have endured their share of heartache and tragedy in their lives and I love how they help each other heal and find an inner strength and resilience neither of them knew they possessed! I also enjoyed the secondary cast—especially members of Cole’s close-knit wolf pack—and thought the juicy high school drama and small-town scandal were handled marvelously.

This was an audio listen for moi and Kai Kennicott and Wen Rose brought this entertaining shapeshifter bully romance to flesh and blood life! Kai tapped into Bailey’s vulnerability, sweetness and saucy sass beautifully—my heart truly ached for her plight—and Wen was as magnetic and devilishly charming as ever. Sighhh! This velvet-voiced narrator never fails to make my heart go pitter patter and leave me all aquiver! Every time he growled “Babygirl” to Bailey, or put her over his knee to mete out his erotic punishments, I couldn’t stop squirming in ecstasy! Bottom line? This entertaining duo once again claimed my attention, thoroughly enraptured me and left me completely smitten!

This book won me over...And the narrators have turned me into a fan! Perfect to listen to while I worked, and kept me company while cooking too. Ready for the next book by an author who is a must buy whenever she publishes.

This was not your average bully romance.

A lot of these types of books are very similar. But this one was not about a rich kid with a chip on his shoulder. This was about a kid whose family was not doing so well, and when his dad lost his job and the woman who took over that job moved in next door, he took out his anger on her daughter.

But he wasn’t cruel like some stories. He was a little mean spirited but nothing that was inexcusable. In fact pretty quickly he becomes infatuated with Bailey. Most of the cruelty is in his thoughts and plans. But he’s just kidding himself because he can’t seem to help himself when it comes to the girl next door.

I really loved this book and although Cole acted older than a high schooler, especially with the sex games he played with her, I didn’t even care. Because in other parts he showed his immaturity with the decisions he made. I was so sad when I realized this book was coming to an end.

Also, he’s a wolf. So that was a really cool twist to this kind of story. Loved it.
