About this listen
A Beauty and the Beast Fantasy Romance Retelling
Four handsome fae princes.
One awkward bookworm.
An Enchanted Vale.
A beastly curse to break.
Rosalina O’Connell lives her life in Orca Cove as quietly as she can.
When her father turns up missing, Rosie goes after him and finds herself in the Enchanted Vale, the land of the fae. Where her father has been imprisoned and Rosie has no choice but to make a deal with four fae Princes to take his place.
As Rosie begins to learn more about the four Princes, she discovers that they have been cursed. The Princes must take on the form of demonic wolves every night and with every year that passes, more of their magic fades away.
If the Princes can each find their mate, they will break their curse and free their realm. Rosie is determined to help them…
The only problem is, the more time she spends with the Princes, the more she’s convinced that she’s the one they’re all meant to be with.
A spicy Beauty and the Beast retelling filled with enchanted fae, morally grey characters, a stupidly hot villain and a princess who has found her Prince Charming. All four of them.

'My newest fantasy escape! Bonded By Thorns is a sweeping introduction to an enchanted fae world brimming with magic, mystery, and romance. Elizabeth Helen expertly combine fractured fairytales and beloved romantasy tropes to craft a compelling story with great characters'
Emily Rath, USA Today bestselling author of North is the Night
'Fun, scorching hot, and absolutely ADDICTIVE. I am obsessed with this series'
Elizabeth May, #1 Sunday Times Bestselling author of The Falconer series
'Enchanted fae, a sexy villain, and morally grey men all wrapped up in the why-choose fantasy romance of your dreams. Beasts of Briar is the perfect series for romantasy lovers everywhere. I’m hungry for more!'
Clio Evans, author of Cosmic Kiss
‘Bonded by Thorns is a fairytale for grown-ups sinking its thorns into your heart and refusing to let go. It’s a wild, beautiful ride with steam that drips off the pages. Elizabeth Helen weaves a story where the “why choose” romance is a complex braid of roses, that'll have you thirsty for every last drop of love, even as the thorn pricks make you bleed. Prepare to be hooked until the very last word — and then left fiending for the next instalment’
Lexi Esme, author of Threads of Fate
'Elizabeth Helen's Bonded By Thorns takes Beauty and the Beast and turns it on its heels. This innovative blend of beloved romantasy tropes paired with a steamy romance featuring not one, but four princes, is now my favorite way to experience the fairy tale classic'
Frankie Diane Mallis, author of Daughter of the Drowned Empire

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

For some it’s an opportunity. For others it’s a moment to question their faith: In God, in science, in everything. Still others try to keep the world running in the face of absurdity and uncertainty. And then there are the billions looking to the sky and wondering how a thing that was always just there is now... something absolutely impossible.

Two astronomers have detected a strange, pulsing signal from deep space. Within hours, the US government goes into lockdown, restricting airspace and scrubbing scientific data. Was the signal an intercepted communication revealing alarming plans for an enemy’s military strike? Or has humanity at long last found proof of extraterrestrial life?

Love that it was a beauty and the beast retelling
I didn’t like hearing the female narrator swallow spit every second. It took away from the story. The male voices sound so young for these ancient fae with hardly any attractive sound. The voice guy for the Gypsy Blood series would have been perfect for these strong fae males. The current voices make me think of them as weak nerds, that’s how they sound.

Bleh
Voices were drone like. Story felt like it was written by a child. Characters were boring. Returned this credit with 5 hours left.
