About this listen

Could two guard dogs play matchmaker between an older man and a young male nurse?

Walking home from the hospital past the ornate gates of the Burmingham estate, ICU nurse Brad always stopped to talk to the ferocious guard dogs. He’d been trying to make friends with the German shepherds for months.

Thorston Burmingham doesn’t know what to make of the young man in scrubs. Drawn to the caring nurse, the wealthy reclusive man soon pursues Brad with single-minded determination.

When Thorston forces Brad to admit his interest in living as a Little, Brad quickly learns that the strict man could be the Daddy that he has dreamed of for years.

I just love these stories. The narrator does such a good job of bringing them to life. I always enjoy listening to them. When you put together a great book with a fabulous narrator, you get a recipe for perfection.

I'm in love with these Little's stories. I find them fascinating. This was my first Daddy and Little Boy book, but I loved listening to it. The interaction between the pair is quite interesting. The struggle they go through in
giving up total control to their "Daddies" is fascinating.

I can't wait to start the next available Little Book

Okay, don't get me wrong, I'm sure Nicole Rene is great for M/F or F/F romance or other genres, but a female shouldn't be reading M/M romance novels. It just takes away from the feel of the story. You need someone who can portray the "daddy" well in tone of voice, inflection, etc. I thought maybe I could get past it, but I just couldn't. I read and enjoy too many M/M novels with male narrators to enjoy a female narrator for this sub-genre.
I also wasn't a fan of some of the wordings in here. As some popular gay narrators have said, "a gay guy would NOT say that."

Female Narrator? On an MM Romance?

I am normally a fan of Pepper's books. This one, not so much. I loved Brad. He was so sweet and caring. I hated Thorston - he always jumped to conclusions and didn't deserve Brad. I was disturbed by the spanking scene after Brad had been working a 24-hour shift. Thorston simply reacted - harshly - without stopping to think first. Sure, Thorston felt remorse afterward, but the damage had already been done. I was disturbed by the visit to Dr. Richards, when the doors to the exam rooms were left open, putting the Littles on display to anyone else in the office - Littles deserve privacy, too.

Loved Brad: hated Daddy Thorston
