Publisher's summary

The dungeon has become too small to contain their power.

Jay and the others are aware of the fact that they are on a ship the size of the moon. More than that they know, they are the last survivors of Earth. They have to round up the rest of the clusters and build their power further and burst out of this prison.

Follow Jay as he learns to embrace the power he has but, more importantly, the power of fusion, where the whole is greater than the sum of the parts.

Bursting Out contains detailed adult activities and unconventional relationships.

If you made it this far, there’s no turning back you must descend

Throughout the books, the MC has changed a great deal, and he is quite different from his original character in book one. The author's use of the MC's past to explore his present character is good, but there could be more time devoted to individual side characters. Any time we see side characters, they tend to talk about the MC. While this is not uncommon in other stories, the lack of direct dialogue between two female characters, who always seem to talk about the MC, is noticeable. However, when conversations about the MC do occur, it is not always about who gets to be with him. The universe's state of affairs makes these types of conversations acceptable.

The story does a decent job of having a large cast of female characters and dividing them into wives and concubines, etc. However, the use of fusion as a narrative device to flush out characters and their feelings in different scenarios can get confusing. My favorite female character is the Asian wife flame goddess, who is stoic and has the most character development, especially when she speaks. Amelia's catchphrase about getting first dibs has become iconic, especially in the previous book when she got married.

The magic system in this book is soft and open to the writer's needs, which can be annoying at times. However, it's not completely outrageous. The book's premise is still the strongest and most compelling aspect, and I believe that even with a different writer, the premise would still make the book fairly interesting

Another great book by David Burke. You will not be disappointed. Also the dual narration really brings the story to life.

Great story to continue a great series. Highly recommended for anyone that is a fan of the genre. Performance is excellent by two established voice actors. Top notch.

Luv this series!

I'll make this short and sweet. This review is very late as I listened to audio over a year ago. My apologies to David Burke for not helping to spread the word on one of my favorite harem series. This and Gryff the Griffin Rider gave this genre new life for me.

Now to the book. They are finally making plans to leave but first there is unfinished business from book one. The refinements continue and the stats keep growing. Mysteries are revealed and our boy continues to "make time" to satisfy his women.

I luv this series. I found it to be fast paced and constantly entertaining. Since I already know how the series ends, I can confidently endorse and recommend this series.

really very good

I've been very much enjoyed this story. This book so far has been my favorite of the series. I think five books in my opinion it's just the right amount. the narrator's did a fantastic job and if you're reading my review without having bought in yet I highly recommend the series.

Great job

This was a great way to develop the MC. However, the thought of what could happen to the baby is sad. I’m hoping that it does not happen but either way I hope that the Asencar all die.
