I really enjoyed this one cause the girl wasn't as stubbornly stupid as some of the others. But the narrator kinda reminds me of the Grinch in the classic cartoon.😅😅 I just had to giggle a couple of times.

A good book though not one of Felicity's best work.
Eloise was just am everyday kinda girl well low ranking one of The Snow Leopard but her best friend & lover Cavanaugh became Alpha of the Pack after the death of his father.
AND I thought he was a jerk first off by ignoring her & letting her see the 'higher' ranking girls go to his, though he didn't go near any but he let his 'fated mate' (though she has NO IDEA) believe he had for 5 yrs then after Cavanaugh let Stelum beat him & he decided to leave the Pack so he could get away from having to see Eloise everyday without being near her. SO here is where the story takes hold AFTER Eloise had found him after a couple of yrs trying to locate him, but she has appeared a few days TOO Early to go back & fight Stelum, take Eloise as his & this is where we see & hear what has happened & will happen.
I found though that there were areas where there was a few areas of unneeded details

loved it! kavaran and eloise were apart from each other for almost 10 years (5 years as the Alpha of the pride and 5 years as he had left her back in the pride) eloise went on looking for him for about two years and finally found him and had to get him back before the acting Alpha incompletely took over amd made all the unmated females a part of heirloom. great story!

This book is an erotic, romance, with violence and paranormal.

Cavanaugh a snow leopard has only 8 days left to be allowed to go back to his clan and claim what is rightfully his. He had everything all planned out, so not only will he be able to save his people but claim his mate. It was a perfect plan until the unthinkable happens and his mate comes walking back into his life and it not a happy welcome, his people are being killed by the man he though was going to protect them.

Eloise a snow leopard herself, has no choice but to bring back her best friend since childhood, before more people are killed or worse the women raped. She was not expecting the grown, sexy man before her, her resolve to stick to only saving the clan begins to melt away, with each moment spent with him. As they are on the quest to stop the destruction of the clan, they find out they are meant to be together but is it too late and at what cost?

It is a good book, no doubt about it, just not my kind of book.
