Publisher's summary

Tate Burke, the eldest of the Burke brothers and a member of the rock band Dirty B., is pure sex. Women actually throw their panties at him during shows. And Ella Dawson is the lucky little thing that gets to escort their fangirling butts out when he's done with them.

Tate's a cocky son of a bitch, but there's more to him than meets the eye. Every now and then Ella gets a rare glimpse of the Tate behind the bad-boy act, and it attracts her in the most annoying way. The most annoying, heart-thumping, panty-wetting way.

When her raging mad, abusive ex turns up at the hotel room that Ella and Tate are sharing, Ella knows that she'll need more than just a little protection. Tate sees red, and Ella can't help but lean on him despite his bad-boy ways.

And now? Now, he's in a whole lot of trouble.

Contains mature themes.

Good Book

This was an Good Book. The ending was Good, but I was disappointed. She should had press charges and made him pay. No one should put hands on a women, or any body. He will do it again. They don't never learn, especially if they get away with it the first time. Maybe the next time she will end up dead. But, overhaul the book was Good. But, very disappointed about that part.

Kids are not this bad

I love the book. However, Mila is even more annoying in this book. Why do they find her behavior cute. She is very spoiled.

Tons of cussing

The story was good. However the continual gratuitous cussing turns me off. Sure give the book a chance. The series is good.

Absolutely loved this rockstar romance.

The narrators were perfect at drawing you in. I also thought southern accent was perfect

Not for Me

Ella is running away by taking a PA position with Dirty B. Tate is the Bad Boy of the Burke brothers and doesn’t plan on settling down until Ella.

The blurb hinted at the possibility of a little mystery and action with Ella’s abusive ex-boyfriend. But what we get here is a deplorable human being (the ex) not suffering any consequences for his actions.

I was already frustrated with how Ella handled the situation, but then the whole thing gets swept under the rug. She wears evidence of the abuse. Her parents and everybody can see it, but nothing is going to happen to him?

I liked little Mia. She was adorable. Sofie’s turnabout was abrupt. She went from being distant to now she’s running the show? There were too many leaps in this series.

So, I think it’s time for me to say Goodbye to the Burke Brothers.

Just "NO!"

*****SPOILERS ALERT!!!!*****

I was waiting until the end to get resolution to an extreme abuse situation, and relishing the moment when justice would be done, but what do they do? They let the abuser go, so WTH? I like my HEA which include justice served. Here, the main characters have everything they need to put the villain away, but they just choose let him go - free and clear. What message does that send? Let abusers loose to abuse somebody else when you have all the means to put him in jail?.Sorry, not for me. This author should have done better by their main characters.

Disappointing

I find it unbelievable that an Ivy League educated lawyer would tolerate a man beating her for two years and then not take the winnable case to court to make sure the man doesn't beat another woman. Every fourth word seemed to be the F word. Narrator did a great job with a bad story.

Wtf??

This is the most un researched book ever. The legalities don’t make sense. He assaulted her multiple times, the accusation doesn’t even get him taken in for questioning? But the other one did? Doesn’t even make sense. So much makes no sense. This guys personality is not believable and so is hers. The way she acts for a person that’s been physically assaulted for 2 years is not believable.
