I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS SERIES!! The way Payne Hawthorne writes pulls you into her world effortlessly!! She was New to me before this Audio Book! She will be on my automatic buy Author list now!! The Chemistry is off the charts! There's action, you'll laugh, but you will cry! You will cry like a baby a one certain time(at least I did)!! I CAN NOT WAIT for the next book in the series!! The Narrator Joshua is just WOW!!!! His accent is perfection! The way his says "bofy" will make you wet!! He is absolutely perfect!! Thank You for letting me listen!!

I do love a Sexy Scotsman! Jacob's accent renders foreplay unnecessary! I also love this author and her unique, totally different take on traditional romance novels. Her characters are memorable and charismatic. Wonderfully written character development that stays true to each individual. Payne also writes the best sex scenes that are ALWAYS a turn on. Also many really funny moments that made me laugh out loud. One very sad moment that also made me tear up, (that never happens!).Payne Hawthorne is now a one-click for me along with Kresley Cole, LKH, Jeannine Frost among others. Can't wait for the next installment. Joshua Story did a good job on the narration and use of different accents although I think his delivery could be smoother, (I however am an audio file and pretty much ONLY listen to books--never read).

I think you'll find my work refreshing, new and Interesting!

I refuse to write formula romance so this is not your average paranormal romance story. Even after all my time in this story and I still find it a Page turner! Of course my true love is writing great sex and erotica.

Yes, there is a lot of bad language in this title, but it's a fun listen, great entertainment and the best escape I can think of.

You will find you become totally emerged in their life and struggles.
Many comedic moments too! I'm totally in love with Jacob and I think Allison and Lumen are portrayed exactly how an Omega wolf would act in a pack.

Book 4, CAIN, is almost finished and will be released as an E-book in April 2015.

I'm enjoying the series! I've already reviewed each book independently, but wanted to listen to the first part of Cain. Judging from what I've heard, this should be an enjoyable listen as well. I can't wait to find out where Payne goes with this new character and story line!

This is my first story by Payne an I must say I really enjoyed the story. Joshua Story did a fantastic job with the narration. It is a long book but well worth the time to listen to. This goes in to my top 10 audio books to listen to.

A good Shifter storyline

It was an okay listen, and the narration was great, but I can’t put my finger on why the whole thing wasn’t great. Maybe scattered or incoherent or unpolished? At any rate, listening through 14 hours and reaching the end makes it a pretty good book, better yet, curious about the next in series.

I can honestly give it One Thumb.
