About this listen

The first day of Mia's new life in Grayslake, Georgia, is not going as planned. The house her grandfather left her looks ready to crumble, boxes cover every inch of the floor and - oh - there's a bear cub in her pantry. It gets worse when the cub's uncle comes by and busts out his fur and claws while on her front porch. Then it gets loads better because suddenly there's a hot hunk of badge-wearing werebear on her lawn ready to rescue her. Yum. Of course, he has to ruin things by trying to take the cub out of her hands. Ha! The cub is hers...no ifs, ands, or bears about it.

Werebear Ty can't seem to get the curvaceous, delectable Mia to understand that, even if she is one-quarter werebear, she isn't keeping the cub. Ty is the Grayslake Itan, the clan's leader, and the little werebear is going home with him. Unless it isn't. It's her smile. If she'd stop smiling and being gorgeous, his inner-bear would support him and Ty would get his way. But the beast wants to make his woman happy, so it's perfectly content to let her do as she pleases. Then things change. Threats arise, danger comes close, and Ty demands she return to his den. No ifs, ands, or mates about that.

Awesomesauce

I love Celia Kyle and was curious about not seeing any of her books in audible. Then all of a sudden she has several. I was delighted to see No Ifs, and or Bears About It was one of the first because this story is exciting, funny and touches the heart. The narrator did a fabulous job. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars for all aspects. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it.

Good Book

I thought that the book jumped in there could have been more information about how the characters knew eachother.

Great Narration &Tale, Can't Wait For The Next One!

This is the first story in Celia Kyle's excellent bear shifter series. It has it all engaging characters, humor, suspense, and hot erotic scenes. Kendall Taylor's narration is awesome. Her male vocalizations are the best I've ever heard by a female. She makes the story vivid and engrossing. Can't wait until the next one.

Enjoyed

Would you consider the audio edition of No Ifs, and, or Bears About It to be better than the print version?

I've read the series and loved it then, so once I saw it was on audible I knew I'd have to give it a try. I wasn't disappointed. Looking forward to hearing the rest of the series.

Not a believable romance.

The instant making out was a bit much, but overall this story was okay. The biggest error on the authors part was that we as readers didn't get to know the characters very well, before announcing that she is his other half at 1.5 hours into the story. Now that's fast even for mayflies. The story moved to fast without any build up, within 3 days Mia was telling Ty how to run his clan and is bossing everyone around. But what really annoyed me is when she was drugged and she was just cool with it. What? What this story did have for it was the cute bear cub and Mia's use of words. I really liked the sentence "He was more gorgeous the more he cooked." Yup, gotta love that kind of guy. That made it good enough to finish but I won't be getting the next one. Narrator was okay.

A quirky story with a curvy main character

I really liked this story. The main female character was a little quirky. There were some funny parts and, as a curvy woman myself, I enjoyed seeing one as a main female character. And the curves were mentioned and explained with respect. The male leading character was muscular and thin and found his curvy lady to be the most beautiful he's ever seen. The main story was good as well. I thought it all flowed well. I really enjoyed it.

Just Wow!

I am a devoted paranormal mystery and romance reader. I was browsing the Audible site and found this great book. The story had really good and memorable characters. The story revolves around a human female and the alpha of a town full of bears. There's lots of laughs, romance, mystery, sex, bears, werewolves, hyenas, a great shifter clan fight and cute little cubs. I plan to buy the next book in the series. This book is definitely worth a credit.
