Steamy? YES! Story? Eh.
First of all, I received a free code to listen to this audiobook. Both author and narrator are new to me. I normally listen to Contemporary romance and anything that catches my attention. I'm also a sucker for bad boy millionaires/billionaire books.
That being said...the story was sexy and steamy but I felt zero connection to any of the characters. It did end on a cliffhanger, however I don't feel vested to the characters so I wont be listening to book 2.
The narration was good, he was a sexy as heck voice, however when the chapters transition from Male to Female POV, there is little to no distinction with his voice. If you miss the switch, "Jessie" or "Christos" you maybe a bit confused about who is talking.
Overall it was ok IMHO, if you're looking for a wham, bam, thank you ma'am this is your book. if you like in-depth characters and a substantial story...Eh not so much.

Exquisite! The written word and the Narration!
You both teaming up to write and narrate a story that has left me so in awe and wanting more! Jax Hart with his writing and Rodney Falcon with his narrating has my emotions on a rollercoaster ride. I have never had the honor of hearing audio books and I am so over the top! You gentlemen have taken this to the next level and it was such an pleasure hearing this book! Phenomenal!!
Absolutely phenomenal! I am absolutely speechless, this book blew me away! Once I started reading I couldn't put it down. This book is packed full of twists and turns and unexpected surprises, and the explosive chemistry between Christos and Jessie will leave you wanting for more. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. I can't wait for book #2!!! This is a definite must read, one-click the book today, you won't regret it.

Saying that I’m a fan of Jax Hart’s writing is putting it mildly, and he has teamed up with one of my favorite voices, Rodney Falcon, to bring Enslaved to life. A dark twisted alpha that binds you to his dark desires, a roller coaster of emotions, and an innocent bird caught in the devil’s grasp seeking for freedom- a freedom that may only be found in his arms.
El Diablo, Christos, is everything you would want in a dark alpha male. Perturbed, perverted, twisted, wounded and arrogant. He’s a DOM who wants control, a man who feels nothing, only the glimpses of raw passion. His obsession runs deep for the one woman who wants nothing to do with him. I have to admit I’m Enslaved by Jax Hart’s new sultry series, I think it’s one of his best stories yet.
Rodney Falcon brought the devil himself to life and I enjoyed every minute of his deep rumble. His voice is soothing yet wickedly good. A push and pull that keeps you craving for more.
Enraptured is next and I’m once again on the edge of my seat, waiting to see what El Diablo’s twisted mind has in store for his pretty little dove.

okay
I did like this story but found plenty of room for improvement. I had unanswered questions that if answered I would have rated higher. The narration was just okay but nothing special.

Bring on book 2!
This book was just what I need. It's raw, dark, and amazingly sexy. If you're a fan of dark romance you'll love this book.

BEAUTIFUL MONSTER !
Jessie was searching for something different. Something new. Who would have thought it would result in her meeting Christos Devillo? Jessie left California for Greece to board Oasis, Christos' yacht. Jessie is free spirited, motivated and happy to be a part of Oasis' crew.
Christos' name and reputation precedes him. Also known as The Devil, Christos is just as ruthless in his personal life as he is in business; dominating the boardroom among other things. He has his sights set on Jessie. Jessie doesn't know what to make of the mysterious man and his pursuit of her, but she knows he's not a man to be taken lightly. There will be no limits in his plan to make Jessie his.
After weeks of bending Jessie to his will, Christos has been doing some bending himself. This is not an acceptable behavior for him. Jessie becomes confused and broken. Jessie is losing the battle between her treacherous body and her reasoning brain. She can't help but crave Christos and that scares her. Jessie runs and Christos finds himself chasing her. He has never chased a sub in his life. Jessie is different, not his typical sub. Jessie is a fighter. Special. His to break...and he does.
To say this audio book was INTENSE, RAW AND REAL, does not do it justice. Sure it was all that, but so much more. It deals with love and the freedom to love and be loved. Jessie feels too much and Christos, not enough. They both struggle to get it right and when they do it's amazing. But when they don't, it's a disaster. Love that denies all logic. A deep, soul sucking love that will never fade, no matter how far you run or how hard you deny it's existence.

FROM THE ORIGINAL STORYLINE TO THE COMPLEX CHARACTERS, THIS STORY, WITH IT'S EXCEPTIONAL NARRATION BY RODNEY FALCON, HELD ME CAPTIVE FROM THE START AND STILL HASN'T RELEASED ME ! ! ! RODNEY'S SMOOTH, SEDUCTIVE VOICE WAS EXACTLY AS I IMAGINED CHRISTOS' TO BE ! RODNEY REALLY BROUGHT THIS BOOK TO LIFE ! PACKED FULL OF UNEXPECTED TURNS, EXPLOSIVE CHEMISTRY AND UNDENIABLE DESIRE🔥🔥🔥
