This is my first book by this author and narrator. I must say i enjoyed the book/storyline. The narrator was ok but as the book went on the narrator grew on me. I loved Paul's and Andre's characters. I loved the wisdom of Andre. Emily's deception was on point for someone who will not give her the time of day. It was a hot book for sure. I recommend this book. This is book 1 so I just started Kink which is book 2!

This story is erotic forbidden romance at its best! Nikki is officially one of my favorite authors and will get an automatic buy from me. And Guillaume’s performance is spot on and delicious! He brings out the blazing chemistry between the characters perfectly. He will also be an automatic download for me. Nikki and Guillaume together are fire! I definitely recommend this book.

I'll admit, there were a few times when I really wanted to reach through my phone and smack Paul upside the head, and Emily could *probably* have handled things better here and there, but that's half the fun, right? You know it's an engaging story when you find yourself wanting to yell at the characters and interact with them. :) And any book with Andre Chevallier is a winner as far as I'm concerned, especially if Guillaume Dubois is narrating. Guillaume Dubois makes Andre come to life The french accent is swoon worthy These books are so spell binding and all have a HEA Andre is always adding words to live by Characters are always struggling through their own head stuff Must say these are very favorable to the BDSM life style. Just love this series but only with Mr. Dubois narration

Emily and Paul's story of falling in love and Emily's journey into the BDSM world was just beautiful wrote and it drew me in within to first two chapters lived it.

Fate can be good or bad. This story made me realize that fate can be kinky too! Infatuation and friendship make interesting bedfellows. I didn’t think some of the scenes could get any hotter, then a French accent was introduced! Thank you for giving a voice to my dreams!

This is a stepping stone to BDSM for Emily. It’s a different kind of love story and I loved it. You see how Emily and Paul grow together. The narrators is good.

The first few chapters didn't really grab me. Emily's plan left me cringing and hoping she wouldn't go through with it, to me it felt like a disaster waiting to happen. And in some ways it was, things both went very wrong but also very right.

I stuck with the book because the blurb had really grabbed me, I've also read a fair few Nikki Sex books and I've loved them all so I was hoping that I'd love this one too, and I did.

Terrible plan aside, this book contains very well crafted characters, an interesting plot, red hot chemistry and all the complications that come with people who have triggers stemming from childhood (all of us). I thought that the way Nikki had Emily and Paul resolve their issues was realistic.

I loved having Andre show up in this book, I haven't read his series yet, but he's already a favorite character of mine.

The narration is excellent, the accents are really well done and so are the character voices in general, the delivery is smooth, well paced and lovely to listen to.

Sorry it took so long for the review. I enjoyed this audiobook and appreciate having it in my collection. The author has not disappointed. I listen to it during household chores and cooking, and I feel as though I'm right in the room with them.......
