About this listen

Katya has always been an outsider, shunned for having no wolf and unable to live up to the reputations of her Beta father and infamous warrior mother. Just before her 18th birthday, her family is stripped of their titles and shunned from the pack.

They have only two options: go rogue or seek refuge in a Black Creek Pack. Katya suddenly finds herself caught up in a web of lies her parents told. Now not only does she need to prove herself to her new Alpha, but she has to keep him from finding out her secret.

However, Katya finds keeping her secret harder than she thought when the Alpha shows a keen interest in her. She is forced to move into the packhouse. And with nowhere to hide, she is forced to go to extreme measures to keep him from finding out she has no wolf.

But darkness looms, and secrets come to light, more than she ever imagined. Now Katya doesn’t know who to trust or who to turn to when everything she thought she knew was just another lie of a bigger secret kept.

Just when she believes she has all the pieces of the puzzle, does she learn the Alpha is keeping a secret of his own. She is his mate. There is just one issue: Katya has no wolf, and if he figures that out, will he keep her or shun her as her last Alpha did?

That this is a complete book series

I dislike that the other books aren't available as audiobooks soo... I guess my question is when will the rest of the series be available on audible ?! I also disliked that the main female characters name was mispronounced but, I can easily overlook it but, I'd really like to hear the complete book series ASAP so Ms. Jessica Hall when will or will it ever be available on Audible ?!

Best series ever!

The story is so good. I cannot wait for all of it to be on Audible.

This is a unique story not like all of the cliche werewolf stories.

The narrators are ok. I bought this series on another platform unfortunately paying hundreds for them to delete it. The original narrators made it even better. That being said, I wouldn't know a difference if I didn't hear it before. The narrator is pronouncing her name wrong. It isn't Ketcha it is Kat-e-ah. That kind of drove me crazy but the story is so good that I'm willing to let that go lol.

Name pronounced wrong???

Other than the fact that they kept pronouncing the FMC like catch-ya or ketchup, instead of Kah- Tee- uh like it’s supposed to be (which I’m hoping the author approved of the way they pronounced it through out the book) and made me want to scream. The story was funny and fun and dramatic. I have the physical copy of this book and the others in the series and I’m looking forward to hearing the rest.

Great storyline, loved the characters

I disliked the narrator for the female character. She mispronounce names and I did not like the tone of voice she used for this character.

Mispronounced name and had to speed it up

It’s a great story but they mispronounce her name but it’s easy to look over because they usually call her Kat and I had to speed it up because I didn’t like how how the mfc sounded but once I did that it was great :) and she sounded normal.. but I was sad it wasn’t the whole story

Grown man with an underaged girl. It’s basically grooming the first half.

I wish the summary had explained that the FMC is an underaged teenager and that the MMC was a grown man. I would not have used a credit on it had I known. Feels super pedo-like and not a fan of underaged anything, especially since this includes spice in it. It was weird and felt a whole lot like grooming. Throughout the first half she goes through a lot of uncomfortable situations that the MMC (a grown ass man) puts her through and laughs about, as if seeing an underaged and inexperienced girl get embarrassed and uncomfortable is oh so hilarious. I cannot stress enough how weird this whole part was. And the fact that she’s forced to do as she’s told since he’s her alpha and also somewhat an authority at her freaking school!? He even puts her in detention and she’s scared and isn’t comfortable but he makes everything sexual and weird and it felt like listening to pedo writing. Also, speaking of the writing, it is immature and felt like I was listening to something a middle schooler wrote. The FMC has absolutely no personality or qualities that would make me think “oh yeah, of course she’s beloved, she’s so smart or funny or unique.” Nope. She’s a stale piece of bread and somehow the two main males go crazy over her. Her “mother” is also giving villain vibes throughout and you have to wonder who actually has this poor girl’s wellbeing in mind. Shes a child after all and all the adults around her aren’t safe, even her own mate who doesn’t listen to her, will laugh at her inexperience, and basically is just a huge creeper of a man. What is a grown man doing with an underaged girl!?! Even if she is his mate, you don’t do or say the things he did to her. I cannot stress enough how much I HATED this book! The absolutely ONLY thing I liked was the duet narration.
