About this listen

When my parents were banished from Wolf City before I was born, I thought there was no way I would ever live in a pack again. Cuffed, with my shifter magic bound, I was forced to go to school with witches and vampires in order to keep my true nature from coming out.

Then I met him.

Sawyer Hudson.

The Alpha's son was visiting the Delphi College for Magically Banished Youth and spotted me. He took one look at me, and an hour later, I was being pulled out of school, taken into Wolf City and leaving my parents and everything I knew behind.

It's the Alpha's son's selection year, the year he must pick a mate, and every female aged 18-22 must be in attendance.

I've landed myself in the middle of Werewolf Bachelor, and just when I think I've got a handle on things, Sawyer releases my cuffs, unbinds my magic, and sees what I really am.

The problem is, I don't know what this creature is that I transform into. It's not an ordinary werewolf, that's for damn sure.

Amazing

I love starting a new series by Leia Stone because I know she is going to hook me in right from the start! And let me tell you this book didn’t disappoint! Leia Stone has been my go to shifter books for a long time and she always does an amazing job sucking me into the story!

I loved the narration for this and Vanessa did amazing bringing this character to life for me!

Great beginning and middle but the ending was disappointing.

This was the first book I have read by Leia Stone. Loved the story and main characters, Sawyer and Demi, but the ending was such a disappointment. The change in the storyline came out of nowhere! I am looking forward to listening to the second book. I just hope it makes up for the fragmented ending of this one.

The timeline

The story has great characters. Unique powers than the normal wolf books. Lots of love. Her humor is good. Friendship is good. A strong lead character that is a young woman. The timeline just didn't make sense where she was born to when her lover was born. To the drama of her mom and his dad. The timeline didn't make sense. There was no anger for her true father. That made no sense to me. Her mom was more forgiving than a normal person would be. But maybe I just feel I would not trust those. Other than that it was a good quick story.

Completely Unnecessary

Vanessa is one of the BEST narriators!!! The story is very good, but to me, flinging the "f" word around constantly cheapens the overall story. It does nothing for the story and isn't appealing in the least. people are far too familiar with the filthy word.

love this

As always Leia Stone you have ripped my heart out and stomped on it. I listened to the audiobook book and read this, and Vanessa Moyen does an amazing job as always. This story will draw you in and before you know it, you have no more pages left. Well done Leia, well done

I absolutely loved this book. it has taken me a while to get to it, but Wolf Girl, was fantastic! This is my first book of Leia Stone's and it won't be the last!!! I have to finish the series definitely!! I must find out what happens next. This poor girl has had so many things thrown at her, it's never ending!!! Vanessa Moyen did a wonderful job narrating!!! Great book!!!!❤

Great book, easy listen, should have a warning label though

Love the author and narrator. The narrator is especially one of my favorites. The book is easy to listen to - I went through the whole thing in two days and never felt bored. I will say though, there’s a couple different triggers in this book regarding assault and it definitely caught me off guard. Otherwise, I enjoyed the book and will buy the second one.

It won't become a classic, but it was enjoyable.

This won't be up there with great works of literature, but for what it is this was a good listen and I don't regret the time spent. I mean until I got to the end, the plot twist pissed me off and broke me, which probably means it was well done.

Needs trigger warning but good story

This book needs to have a trigger warning for those who have been sexually assaulted. This series has brought up sexual assault multiple times going into slight detail without any warning. Those sections triggered flashbacks for me personally and I had to skip past hoping that was the last time it was brought up. The overall story is good if you like teenage romance and fantasy mixed together even though the characters are supposed to be adults.
