The story was really good! The thing that took away a little for me wasn’t the story, it was the narration. The narrator felt a little stiff in the reading.

I will purchase the book and read it myself, because it was a fun, sexy and interesting story.

I do recommend it.

Quick and entertaining story. Long married couple decides to explore, and invite Scott to join them. I was not fond of the narration. I felt it did not flow naturally. I am interested in checking out more of the series.

This is undeniably H-O-T! 🔥🔥🔥 I love how Linda takes action to spice up her marriage. Even if she didn't consciously set out to have her fantasies fulfilled, what happens is beyond her wildest dreams... and Alex's when he runs into a former colleague.

I really love how easily the relationship with Scott naturally falls into place. In a short amount of time, all three click in a way that makes it seem like they've been friends, and more, for a long time.

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrator is Claire Cunningham. She's OK. I mean, she is fine as Linda, but male characters aren't her forte. She is a bit inconsistent in parts, even with Linda.

Fireworks in Paradise is Natalie Hothorne’s entry in the multi-author book series, Temptation in Paradise. Like the other books in this series, this story is set at the fictional lifestyle (i,e,. swinger) resort, Temptation, in the Bahamas. (Temptation seems to be closely based on Desire, an actual lifestyle resort, in Mexico.)

The plot is pretty straightforward - a long-married couple goes to a lifestyle resort to reconnect and spice up their lagging sex life, where they then experience things they’ve previously only fantasized about. In this case Linda books the vacation without telling her husband, Alex, that it’s a lifestyle resort they’ll be attending.

I won’t spoil the who’s or how’s, but it comes out that Alex is bisexual and has never admitted that fact to either Linda or himself. To his surprise Linda is turned on by the idea of seeing her husband with another man (as well as the possibility of experiencing another man for the first time herself). They soon act on their mutual desire.

The character development is completely adequate for a story of this length/nature. Hothorne’s handling of the M/M physicality is both tasteful and hot AF. And the MMF loving is nothing short of smoking. And in the end we get a satisfying HEA for all.

The audiobook narration for this story is pretty solid. Claire Cummingham’s voice is nice to listen to, and she does a good job of conveying the sexy. My only criticism would be with voicing the male characters - I would rather hear Claire’s voice than her take on male voices. YMMV.

I noted several audio edit issues, but none that really pulled me out of the story.

Overall, this book and audiobook are definitely a recommend.
