Where does Her Only Desire rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Great D.D. listen. Fast pace mystery, erotica, and great use of imagination. BDSM does not bother me as it added to this story, very well done. But if you do not want any BDSM, then this is not for you. With so many biker/tattoo listens, this was a refreshing listen.

good use of D.D. writing skills. Left you with the feeling of "that element" that makes you remember a good listen.

What does J. F. Harding bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He is a great new reader for me. Gads, I hope he reads more of D.D. work. this reader could have saved some of D.D. books read by weak female breathy readers! Listeners, I hope you enjoy this new male reader as you have Victor Selzack, Kelo Griffith and Robert Petro. J.F. reads at a great pace, with a good female voice, which so many male readers can not pull off. Yes, they can do sexy male, but female is the hard part. He is a WINNER along with V.S. my all time fave male reader.

our heroine love for her older brother. You can picture her with her hand in her older brothers' as they walk.

Great New Sexy Series

Her Only Desire is the first book in Delilah Devlin's Sultry Summer Nights series, and I really enjoyed listening to it. It was sexy and interesting, and I really liked the characters. I think this book was a great start to this series, and I can't wait to read more in the series. I really enjoyed the secondary characters as well as Tilly and Boone, and I can't wait to get to know these guys better. I think fans of BDSM erotica will really enjoy this one.

When Boone Benoit returns to his hometown in Louisiana, no one is happy to see him. Everyone thinks that he is fixing up his childhood home to sell it, and to them it can't happen fast enough. Tilly is working as a waitress in order to take care of her brother after she had to see their family home in order to pay for his group home. When a job posting keeps showing up that happens to be in her specialty offering a generous salary, she can't resist the opportunity. The job is working for Boone though, and she knows that she should stay away from him. Not only does he bring out her desire, but he was also her cousin's boyfriend and the subject of the scandal that rocked their town. Despite everyone's warnings to stay away from him though, she decides to take the job and see where things go between them. But as Boone draws her into his world, she quickly realizes there is more to Boone and his desires than she knew. Can Tilly learn to shed her inhibitions and give up control to Boone?

I liked both Boone and Tilly. I thought that they were easy to become invested in, and they were interesting. Boone was a total alpha and liked control, but he was also really tender and gently with Tilly. I liked that he eased her into his world and was patient with her. He was determined to figure out what had happened all those years ago, but he also was protective of Tilly and was willing to think about her and what the truth would do if it could possibly hurt her. He was sexy and strong and I liked that he was willing to work as hard as his men and didn't expect something out of them that he wasn't willing to do himself. Tilly was so dedicated to her brother and in taking care of him. She was caring and kind, and she didn't judge Boone like everyone else did. I liked that she would comfort him when he needed it and that she was also not afraid to stand up to him either. They worked really well together and had a ton of chemistry. These two were super hot together, and it was clear that they clicked from the very start.

Overall, this was a great start to the series and I really enjoyed reading this book. It was sexy and the sex scenes were hot. Tilly and Boone were really steamy, and I thought that the scenes were written well. I did think that there were parts of this story, mainly the beginning, that moved a bit slowly for me. It was a bit hard to get into, but once the story started to pick up I really liked Tilly and Boone and was curious to see what would happen next. I think that erotica fans will really like this story, especially those that enjoy BDSM stories. This one does have BDSM aspects to it, but it wasn't overly dark and I think that even those that might be wary of that should still give this one a try. I look forward to reading more from Delilah Devlin, and I am excited to see where she takes this series

Excellent story and voice performance.

The story was hot and wonderful, just what I expect from Delilah Devlin. The voice performance was excellent. I will be reading more books from this author and looking for books from this narrator.

WOW! Unexpected find!!

I love downloading a book expecting one thing (nice erotic story), but actually lucking up and getting another (a super awesome storyline).

This was great... It was like a murder mystery, with a bdsm undertone that actually played into the story, and didn't overshadow the story at all. The Louisiana Bayou drawl was perfection. Really creative thinking, as within all small towns, something like a murder will have everyone pointing fingers at (WHO) they think did it...

NOW BOONE!!! What a great character Boone is... I so want me some of BOONE! I loved the fact that he left town, but only to come back as the owner of everything, but still no one really likes him because of how he left. Now Tilly! Another great character... so real... the whole cousin thing threw me at first, but I got over it quickly.

Now the bevy of secondary characters...really played a part in this story... At first I was mad at Boone b/c he obviously wanted Tilly, then he and his second play with another chick...what was that! But I get it now... Boone and Tilley wasn't really Boone and Tilley by this point.

Now the Eppy... OMG! I sooo cannot wait for book 2. Book 1 actually blew me away, but just from Eppy I need book 2 like yesterday! Sergay's story is gonna be great I just know it... Any story that starts with a kidnapping rescue should be a winner, don't cha think?

Narration was perfection for this story...Harding did an excellent job with those Bayou accents... I so felt like I was transported to Louisiana, there for a minute...

Great Credit or sale... Maybe not a buy as it over 10 bucks...but you know what... I kinda think this story was worth it. It wasn't a 5, but a high 4.5!

I JUST DON'T GET IT

Okay. So, that you know. I was NOT a fan of Fifty Shades of Gray. I just DO NOT understand the excitement some experience from BDSM!! It seems to be a trend in these romantic books and so, I'm never quite certain how much of the book is going to be BDSM or what I would call Conventional. I can't enjoy these books because all I can see is me d Smacking the s--- out of guy attempting to boss me around, not to mention what I'd do if clamps, ropes, or flogging do-hickies were to come within my vicinity!! A Safe Word? I've got one...NEVER!!
So, if you're in to this BDSM you'll likely be just fine with this book. If you're like me, when listening to books like this triggers your Anger and Destroy button, then you won't want to use a credit or spend your money.

Couldn't finish it

It never grabbed my interest. I would attempt to listen but it bored me. I didn't finish it. I can't blame the narrator for this one.

Would have been excellent story without BDSM

I thought this book was about a gutsy southern woman (Tilly) who is struggling to take care of her handicapped brother. Enter bad boy Boone, who was involved with Tilly's cousin, who was murdered about 10 years ago. Wealthy Boone comes home to the town thinks he's a killer and hires Tilly, who immediately starts acting like a mindless idiot. An educated and hard-working woman, Tilly suddenly allows herself to be beaten, humiliated, bossed around and embarrassed to please a man who shows her no respect or emotion. Not my idea of romance. Who wants a man who tells you want to wear, when you can bathe, insist on shaving your privates, exposes your body to strangers, thinks his needs are more important than human dignity. I want my credit back.
