Great book, story line and characters well written, would recommend to those who like Paranormal romance, highly recommend, couldn't put it down, loved it I do wish it was a little longer but I hope the Author will have another book coming out!

This was the first book from this author that I have read. I liked the storyline. The characters in this book are diverse cast of people with out there personalities that I could relate to. The mystery and romance was a good mix. I think the story would have been better if the book was longer giving the author the opportunity to flesh out the characters some more. At the end of the book I felt disappointed because the story jumped around a lot which made it harder to read. The base of the story is solid, it just needs a bit more to make it a lot better

I liked the book. In the beginning you can't trust any of the characters. who is the bad character who is plotting what and you believe everyone is against the heroine. for such a short story the author gets to the core and for a long time you are like No don't trust him/her.

a quick listen. At first I thought it was going to be another book that concentrated mainly on the sex the way it started but was actually surprised that it did not.

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and wrote this unbiased review. The author has written a story that has a storyline that will keep you changing your mind as to whom the bad guy is. While most of the time the characters are in their human form, you must also remember that they are also animals and sometimes animal characteristics come out. This story will keep you guessing a character's actions. This really makes the story interesting and sometimes just shaking your head. There are several hot sex scenes. Trigger warning: there is some nonconsensual sex.

The narrator does an outstanding job of portraying the emotions and personalities of these characters. Her voice is so easy to listen to and enjoy. I recommend this Audible book.

This review contains spoilers. Her Rise to Power is a book that contains betrayal, sex, consensual sex between stepfather and step daughter. The storyline was not strong and the characters were just not believable. I received this audio book at my request and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
