About this listen

After waking up in a room she doesn't recognize, 20-year-old college student Lilly Parkins discovers that she has been placed in a secret government program for adult women who would benefit from living under the care of a firm but loving daddy. For the next few months, all of her needs will be provided for so that she can experience the childhood she never had.

Having been orphaned years ago, Lilly has grown accustomed to depending only on herself, and she is none too pleased by this arrangement, but when she meets her new daddy, Charles Davidson, she cannot help being impressed by the handsome, kindhearted businessman.

Charles makes it clear that while he will never be harsh with Lilly, he will be stern if her behavior makes it necessary, and when she speaks rudely to him, he bares her bottom and spanks her soundly. In spite of his strict discipline, however, Lilly delights in Charles' care and attention, and she soon finds herself longing for him to take her in his arms and make her his. But when her time in the program comes to an end, will it mean saying goodbye to him forever?

Publisher's Note: His Little Captive includes spankings, sexual scenes, and age play. If such material offends you, please don't listen to this audiobook.

Disappointing

if age-play is your kink you'll probably be disappointed. Early on the main characters state that it doesn't turn them on. Why they agree to add it to their HEA is beyond me. Not a ton of spanking ("it's been a month since my last spanking...") and the sex was like warm. This book is practically vanilla.

His Little Captive

I loved listening to this book, it’s definitely is worth the time. I found it to be very funny, self awareness and never wanted it to end. Lily has been a chance to relieve her child, to what she wished it could be. I must admit at first I was not into this story, but then as I continued it got good. It turned out to be a very good storyline. Lily was a handful, but once she found her footing everything fell in place. I love how Charles and Liliy’s relationship flowed. Even when she found out about his secret. It got more interesting, I have to say it surprised me, but I loved it. It took they story to another level flawlessly. Most of all I loved the ending, it took my breath away.

Heart-wrenching and heartwarming

Lilly's soldier parents were killed when she was a little girl and she had a hard life after that. Now the government is giving her a chance to relive her childhood in more pleasant way as a little. Meredith has written an age play story that is both heart-wrenching and heartwarming. We see Lilly's struggles after her parents ' death and accepting this chance to be free of any worries for 3 months. Maybe she can even find love. The narrator does an amazing job of bringing this story to life. She really knows how to to add heat to the love scenes. I asked to receive this Audible book and voluntarily wrote this unbiased review. I highly recommend this Audible book.

Maggie P.

Fantastic story. I found myself laughing out loud at times and trying not to cry at other times. It was a really great story of both of them. Charles made me laugh the most. Especially when he would look up to the ceiling when his patience would be tested. Lily was a real handful at times, yet she was quite funny.

I hope one day there will be a sequel to this book. It would be great to have an update of Charles and Lily. Maybe another Little story with the Director Government Program.

Okay listen

This story was okay, not entirely my cup of tea I guess. There were parts that were okay and then parts that just kinda pulled me out of the story. The entire premise of the story is definitely far fetched and I’ve read other books that are far fetched and not entirely realistic but there was just something with this one that I had a hard time falling into the rules of the world created. Most of the story was good, well written and flowed smoothly but at times things felt stiff for me. Like I said there really wasn’t much that was wrong or bad about the story just not entirely my cup of tea and i just didn’t connect to the story and characters as well. I kept getting pulled out. And with the premise of the age play and sex and the characters not wanting to cross that line while in the age play roles, there wasn’t a clear enough way to always tell when they were in those mindsets and when they weren’t.

very disappointed

The plot had potential but I really hated the way it was handled. The book feels like it's written like a romance but it feels more like Stockholm syndrome. She was forced into a situation that was supposed to be for her own good but for half the book caused her anxiety and severe panic attacks to the point she threw up. How am I supposed to think that she's enjoying this? Sure by the end of the book she found some joy but it didn't feel realistic or healthy. I honestly wonder, would she accept everything if Charles wasn't hot and rich? It's clear she has low self esteem and abandonment issues of course she would attach to the first guy who was kind of nice to her and showed her attraction. I understand this is fantasy and shouldn't be taken too seriously but it made feel gross and uncomfortable. Consent people! It's important! The only reason I finished the book is because I was on the train and had nothing else to listen. I've liked some books by the author and hated a couple.

What a disappointment

I am so disappointed. the synopsis was so intriguing, but the reality is terrible. Not at all like any other of Meredith's books. It doesn't help that the narration was so bad.
