About this listen

From New York Times best-selling author Jay Crownover comes the fourth book in the Marked Men series.

Saint Ford has worked hard to achieve her childhood dream of becoming a nurse. Focused on her work and devoted to her patients, there’s no room for love. She doesn’t need a guy making waves in her calm, serene life - especially when he’s the unforgettable hottie who nearly destroyed her in high school. Dark, brooding Nash Donovan might not remember her or the terrible pain he caused. But he turned her world upside down…and now he’s trying to do it again.

Saint has no idea that Nash isn’t the cocky player he once was. Uncovering a devastating family secret has rocked his world, and now he’s struggling to figure out his future. He can’t be distracted by the pretty nurse he seems to meet everywhere. Still, he can’t ignore the sparks that fly between them - or how she seems so desperate to get away from him. But the funny, sweet, and drop-dead gorgeous Saint is far too amazing to give up on - especially since she’s the only thing in his life that seems to make sense.

When Nash discovers the truth about their past, he realizes he may have lost her heart before he could even fight for it. Now, Saint has to decide: Is Nash worth risking herself for all over again?

Paula Costello - Killer Narration!

Any additional comments?

Audiobook

Narration really good. This one is narrated by both a male(Tad Branson) and a female (Paula Costello) and Paula Costello is so good. She really could have done the whole thing herself, but the book switches back and forth in POV's so it makes sense to have two narrators.

The only thing I want to say right now is that I wish the covers in this series depicted men that looked like the actual marked men.(with the exception of the guy on the cover of Rome) Nash has dime size gauges in his ears and his nose is pierced so let me see a man with that? The cover model is gorgeous, don't get me wrong, but then I read the book and think...hmmm...that's not him...sigh.

OK, one more thing. All their kisses taste like things I'm unfamiliar with. I wish I would have kept track of them all, but the first one I remember is a kiss that tasted like winter. Huh?
Edited 7/8/14 - (I listened to it again and just had to keep track!)
Annnnnddddd....here's the list:
He tasted like sorrow and injury
He tasted like a bar floor that hasn't been scrubbed clean in a month (uh...ACK!)
She tasted like Winter & Some kind of tangy citrus
She tasted like Oranges and Fire
She tasted Wild and Special, Slightly Illicit
She tasted like Sex and Mystery
She tasted like Velvet and Candy on my tongue
He tasted like the Past and the Future, the Then and the Now
A kiss that tasted like Satisfaction and Always.

hee hee

I'm being sassy, it really is a good book. I love all the marked men. They are all a bit broken, but they love their women fiercely and I find myself really wanting to be included in their circle of friends and to hang out with them.

That is all!

LOVE this Series!! Keeps Getting Better!

I love this series!!! With every book I think wow! This was the best one! And then I read the next book. I loved Nash...and I LOVED the narrators...really great! Definitely brought the characters to life for me! And what can I say about Nash...the bad boy with such a great heart! Perfect for his Saint :-) I love how each book intertwines the characters from each of the other books and gives you updates on the characters you've already come to love. I can't wait to read Rowdy! I just downloaded...ready to get started.

Entertaining, easy listen!

This series is my go to series when I want to listen to something enjoyable, entertaining and no fuss. This is a perfect weekend listen. This is more of a YA listen, but despite my advanced age ;) I enjoy the stories. I think they are worth a credit or a sale!

A VERY ADDICTIVE ADDITION TO THIS GREAT SERIES

A long sigh as I shake my head and say, Nash, Nash, Nash you blew me away with your patience, understanding, heartbreak and love in this book despite all the trials and tribulations the talented author threw your way. You deserved so much better from your Mum and from Saint, oh yes I know she had a lot of mental insecurities from her past, but she put you through Hell and just when you needed her most.

But you both got there in the end and I really enjoyed listening to your passionate, tender and emotional love story that included all your friends, Saint's dysfunctional family, some sexy touching and downright annoying scenes with Saint and the heartbreaking loss of your family member. Throughout everything you stayed strong, you were there for everyone when things got bad and you made your Dad proud of his son. Beneath the tattoos, piercings (outch!!) and your handsome face is a man so worthy of his hard won HEA.

Worth a credit? Although it wasn't my favorite in this awesome series (because of Saint's attitude) it was still enjoyable and a very credit-worthy listen which allows us fans of the series to catch-up with the lives and loves of all Marked Men from books 1-3, hear the progress and surprising turn of the business and it even gives us a glimpse what's (or who's) coming next.

Flaming hot!

Finally its all about Nash! and it was super. I love the Marked Men and in my opinion this is second to Rule's story. It was hot, fun, emotional, crazy, eye-rolling, annoying all wrapped up in one. J.C. is first becoming one of my go-to authors. I love how she makes the mid west so attractive. I loved the epilogue, all geared up for the next book!

Love love loved it!

Where does Nash rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Nash is my favorite book of this series! It's probably my favorite book to listen to. I'm listening to it for the third time.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Nash?

The whole this is great. The first time I heard it, it broke my heart! Misunderstanding drives this awesome couple apart and it's sad.

What does Paula Costello and Tad Branson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I feel their voices are perfect for Nash and Saint.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Again, this couple had it rough to begin with. Add in a seemingly compromising situation with a sexy neighbor and heartbreak ensues. Neither Nash nor Saint is unaffected. You would swear it's the end for these two. Over before it began.

Any additional comments?

This entire Marked Men series is amazing. You feel like you've gotten to know each member of this crazy tattooed "family". I accident listened to Nash first. Not knowing it was part of a series. It stands alone, but as part of the whole it's even better. I recommend the entire series. Rule, Jet, Roam, Nash, and Rowdy are all amazingly well write, sexy, and thoughtful. I can't wait for Asa.
