About this listen

Could the bedraggled young lady living in the alley next to his hotel be his perfect match?

Roxy Stevens thought she had the perfect life complete with a Daddy and time to create beautiful paintings. Everything comes crashing down around her when her Daddy throws her out into the streets. Homeless and afraid, she takes shelter in the alley near a beautiful, old hotel.

Miguel Herrera has been searching for his Little girl for a long time. The wealthy hotel owner follows his instincts to care for the homeless woman who sets off all his protective instincts. He will fight to make her his. When that abusive former Daddy dares to reappear in her life, Miguel will protect her with all he has.

It was wonderful hearing one of my favorite stories brought to life by this narrator. Roxy is such a dear sweet Little and her first daddy is such a jerk. Miquel is perfect for her and knows just what she needs. The story at the end is another fabulous and so perfect for these two.

Loved this story

this was sooo good. Most of the books I have on audible are narrated by men. This on was very well done by a woman. I wondered how it would work for me, but honestly the book itself is so engaging that most of the time I didn't even notice ! For me the voices I heard were of the characters themselves, and I somehow managed to not even hear that they were all done by the same woman. So basically I'm saying that this book was brought to life by two very talented women.

so good

This was a fun story and I wanted more from these characters. If this is genre of storytelling is your thing, you’ll be glad you bought this book. The audio narration was also amazing, I think I’ve listen to her read her grocery list.

Fun story

I just finished listening to Roxy story. I just could not put it down. I enjoyed it to the fullest.
The way Miguel quickly knew that she belong to him.
I felt sad for Roxy though. She felt so unimportant to anyone. Her low self-esteem of herself. Her last "Daddy" didn't help either. He was a piece of garbage!!! I'm glad that they dealtvwith him in the manner in which they did. (Don't want to give away too much).I
I can't wait to read another book by her.

I love Roxy and her Daddy! Pepper had once again delivered a stunning story with a special surprise at the end. Her Littles are fun, loving and delightful just like her stories!

A little to love

that being said the story was good. I did not like the narrator. I felt she made the men sound old. I know it is about older men and their littles but not so old they sound 80. that really took away from the story

not my cup of tea
