This is such a great story line. Very twisted and sick but the 'love' that Cali and Rome share is deep and unrelenting. I definitely recommend this book! The narrator did a GREAT job with the voices and narrating the story. I felt like I was actually there and it was easy to follow and understand!

I love dark romance. This story was ok but I found it hard to follow along with or to make since of the twists and turns. This could be due to the poor narrator. It could have been better with someone else.

I adore Natalie Bennett's books! Read some originally through Kindle and was delighted to see she was on audible as well. Unfortunately, the only thing that kept me listening through the poor narration and bad pronounciation was my love for her stories.

Like the story. I have read it before. I wish that the parts were separated having a male read Romero. There were a few times the Narrator read the wrong words or mispronounced the words. Again, I knew I already enjoyed the story, just not as impressed with the narration.

Love the twisted love story. However, the narrator read the story with zero inflection or passion. It was the equivalent of watching paint dry. Several times I almost gave up because I would lose focus on the story due to her monotone voice and mispronunciation of words. I just bought the ebook because I know there are crucial elements of the story that I missed due to the lackluster narration.

This is my first book by this author so I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. This is a book that will stay with you. I caught myself thinking about the story for days after.

From the first page this story will grip you and not let you go. It is gruesome, gory, twisted, bloody and full of horrible events. But is it also a story of two people with dark desires who find each other and connect an so many levels. There are dark secrets, which hopefully will be revealed in the next books.

I might try another story in this series- not audible. This narrator struggled and mispronounced so many words it became annoying and absolutely affected how much I enjoyed this story. Actually- totally ruined it for me.
