I received this audiobook free for an honest review. This book seems like another chapter in a longer book. The story is quick and short. Kind of like a chapter. There are a lot of secrets in the underworld. Not too impressed with the narrator. Not a fan.

I was given this book in exchange for an unbiased review. This story is a continuation of Demetri and Kara's story. Kara is a high priced call girl. Yet the way the sex between them is described is as if they are in a relationship. She also describes some of her her client's habits. When she first discovers his secret she is horrified and leaves her fur coat but she convinces herself she did not see what she saw. When he tells her what he is she takes it in stride and begins having sex with him. The narrator did not work for me. She read the story instead of doing the characters. The story was not that great to me. You could also hear sounds during the audio that should not be there.

This is a PART, not a complete story. A "call girl" accidentally sees part of a world she never knew existed. IMO, the Shifter reveals everything about his world to her way too soon without deliberating any consequences. She takes it in, and well, on goes the relationship... to be continued. It was short but cute.
I didn't care for the narrator's voice but there wasn't any one thing that stands out as "bad." Just not what I like for a story like this.

I was given this book in return for my honest unbiased opinion. I like the start to this book. It is different than some of the others since he can't control the shift. Moving on to book 2. I love these littlr shorts but would prefer s full story.
