It’s time to get drunk on love!

The Cocktail Girls is a shared world between 14 of your favorite romance authors! Each novella is a stand-alone story set in the city of sin.

His Whiskey Sour

Easton Harrison always gets what he wants. All this rock star has to do is crook his finger and women come running. Unfortunately, hookups don’t inspire the songs for which he’s known, and Easton hasn't been able to write a word since his last hit.

After he lands an exclusive gig in Vegas at the Millennium Hotel, the pressure’s on to write a new album. But Ireland, the challenging and sexy-as-hell cocktail waitress who works downstairs at the hotel’s swanky bar, is exactly what he needs.

She's his muse whether she likes it or not. Too bad she doesn't date musicians.

She hates him; he wants her. It’s a match made in songwriting heaven, as long as he can convince her he’s worth the time.

Enjoyed it !!

I like how the two characters interacted and were flirty pretty much right off the bat. But also like how she's give him a hard time..
I really liked how this was narrated by the male and female parts read by the respective sex. Like the characters were actually talking, wish more books were read like this.

His Whiskey Sour

South a great quick listen. This book is perfect if you don’t have much time but want to read a really good love story. The narration was great and I can’t wait to hear more from them.

Sweet Little Story Set in the City of Sin

Easton is not your typical rockstar. He doesn't party to excess, doesn't have a different girl in his bed each night, and is frustrated when his manager sends him to Vegas to write for his new album.

Ireland is a sassy cocktail waitress who has been burned badly by musicians in the past and is working to pay off debt for the wedding that wasn't.

While looking for some quiet time at the hotel, Easton wanders into the Little Black Dress Bar and sets eyes on a sassy gorgeous woman. Devastating kisses and a few hours later, and the writing flows. What happens when Easton asks Ireland to be his paid muse for the week? Will she accept? Will the rules change?

Narrated by the amazing Zachary Webber and Kylie Stewart. Both these voices were superb for these characters! Zach's raspy deep voice resonates as a believable rock star (since he is ALSO in a band!) and Kylie's sweetness bring an innocence to Ireland.

Wonderful new-to-me author

I found His Whiskey Sour when I was searching for audiobooks performed by Zachary Webber. I just love his voice and the added character he brings to his readings. Kim Loraine was a new-to-me author and I was pleasantly surprised by this short story as well as realizing that I recognized the dual narrator's voice of Kylie C. Stewart. The dual narration of this short story made this insta-love tale a winner for me. I look forward to listening to more titles from Kim Loraine.

Wish it was longer

This was a wonderful story, I just wish it was a bit longer with a bit more substance. But it was a perfect quick read. The narration was fantastic! I always love the duet narrations, it makes the story much better and doesn't take you out of the story with the narrators trying to do the other person's voice. The end did feel a little rushed though.

Great!!

This was a great Rockstar romance! I loved it. The characters were charming, the writing witty and the romance steamy! No complaints anywhere other than that I wanted more! The narration was drool worthy and absolutely worth the listen!

Sweet Novella!

I love this novella. His Whiskey Sour is part of the The Cocktail Girls story set in Las Vegas. Easton and Ireland are great together and their chemistry is strong. This story is well written, fast-paced and hot. I love Kim Loraine's writing. The narration is great and easy to listen and I really enjoyed my listening. This is my first listen to to Kylie C Stewart and I love her voice. I received this free review copy audiobook at my request and I have voluntarily left this review.

Fun short romance!

Both narrators did great! Webber is one of my favorite narrators! A wonderful listening experience!

Quick sweet read with a fun premise. Don’t love musician romances, but this was a cute one. Easton is struggling to write new songs, but finds his new muse in cocktail waitress/bartender, Ireland. Unfortunately for him, Ireland isn’t exactly a fan of musicians, but she can’t resist Easton’s charms. The “drama” was on the stupid side because it was a bad look for the common sense of one of the characters, but overall, I enjoyed this story! Good passion and sweet connection!

His Whiskey Sour

A rock star enters a bar (yeah I know it sounds like the start of a joke), only to be verbally attacked by his waitress. He's instantly attracted to her. The story has some really good elements to it, but about the last 20 minutes of the story it feels like the author rushed finishing and it gets all crazy and kind of jumbled. To me it just does not flow well with the rest of the story.
