I was disappointed....how can you go from the 1st book which was mind blowing good.....had me hanging on to every word ....the lead on was amazing....to barely nothing in this book....lead us all in ....to not so hot sex ....not so hot emotional connection....come in now the 1at book was so so so so very very good ....to this? BUT!!!!! Iits not a horrible or even bad book....just does not even compare to the 1st book...not even close....

I was very excited to listened to Reece's book. He is a Dom with a damaged heart. Macey is his best friends sister and looking for a new start, well ok maybe a new start with her old life. She wants to rekindle what they had when she was a teenager and he is trying very hard to protect is heart. Their story is sexy and sweet!!

I was VERY disappointed when I realized the narrator was different from book 1. This narrator read way to fast and it was hard to tell when Reece was thinking something or saying it. Her voice was fine but her male voice didn't have much range at all and it was a little nasally.

First audio book that had errors in it, and the narrator was not the best at inflections in her voice for changes in the characters. Some things were repeated and close to the end she called the heroine by the wrong name😳

I read the 1st book which I enjoy so I decided to listen to the 2nd book it wasn't the same narrator in the 1st one this narrator told the story a little to animated and I just didn't like where some moments in the book should have been more soothing or a different emotion she just gave the same tone throughout the whole book and it irritated me to where I didn't even finish it

Well.....writer did a good job telling the story of love lost and found again.
The ONLY thing I didn't like about this story was, this hole thing was narrated by Jodi Stapler. That made it crazy at 1st...trying to understand who was who.

I didn't hate her voice, she just needed to slow it down- I also felt this would have been a good book to have both male and female narrators

Reader was just not good at voice transitions. Punctuations are a thing, so the reader needs to abide by them.
Timeline at the end of the book is my only complaint about the book itself. Kendall Ryan.... ummm I think you accidentally made a mistake.

While I enjoyed the actual story it’s hard to get past the narrative. I had to slow it down. The reader seemed to be rushing through the story which mad the narration tone is grating, and it was often hard to distinguish between characters at times.

Reese owns a bdsm club. He's put himself into his work. For the last six years there's something missing in his life but he thinks that everything is were it should be in his club and life. Until Macy walks back into it. He starts having these feelings come rushing back with full force. Reese isn't quite sure what to do about them until Macy tells him what she wants. Macy's comes back home to lick her wounds but would rather have Reese be the one licking her instead. When Macy lays eyes on Reese all the feelings she's had for him come crashing back with full force. This was one great audible. I really enjoyed it very much. Great book can't wait to read or listen to more of Kendall Ryan's books.

This is an extension of The Gentleman Mentor featuring Hale's sister Macie and Reece, who you meet in The Gentleman Mentor. This is a second chance romance type of book. Macie and Reece were something of childhood sweethearts and life took them apart. She comes back to town and just wants some fun in the sack. She finds out Reece's profession and he takes her on to "train" her. In the end, you have to be open to your feels and accept them. I loved this book and the narration was awesome! 5 stars all the way around!
