This book was definitely steamy and packed with sex. The entirety of the story takes place over about 24 hours, during which time Lisette and Thane go from being complete strangers to engaged. That's sweet and all, but very far-fetched (which is a big part of the reason I only rated the book 3 stars - it was just too far out there). While their first sexual encounter was super hot, it was also slightly concerning. Lisette went from being wary of this stranger (which she should be) to throwing caution to the wind and having sex with him incredibly quickly. That just doesn't seem like the smartest move on her part, even though it does all work out for the best for them.

Narrator Lila Fallon's voice had a smoky quality that I think lent itself nicely to the telling of this story.

I never understand why narrators of erotic novels think they have to read it erratically a whole time. During the fun scenes, sure, but when they're having a normal conversation, not necessarily in my opinion LOL. She did a great job reading though.

In regards to the story it was completely ridiculous (in a good way) and perfect for Christmas...especially when you know you only have a couple hours before you have to do something.
