Publisher's summary

Tell Me: Gabriel "Force" Banner has been unable to get a certain sexy accountant out of his head. Sole Regret's inventive drummer has created big plans to keep sweet Melanie entertained all weekend long. When they leave behind the bustle of New Orleans and the rock 'n' roll, their romantic weekend seems to be back on track. But life has a way of butting in at the worst possible times.

Tease Me: Adam Taylor, the lead guitarist of Sole Regret, always walked the world alone until he opened his heart and his world to his sweet, reserved rehab counselor. The tender emotions that Madison draws to the surface have him considering his future for the first time in his life while his impulsive, reckless side causes her passion to burn bright. But can a man as wild as Adam be tamed enough for a serious relationship?

Contains mature themes.

Two part novel

While the two sections of the book could be read as stand alone novellas, they work well together as part of a continuing story from different points of view. Fairly kinky sex in this one.

This is one of my favorite fictional bands!

I love the band. I just don't like Nicki because she is such a needy and manipulative person. I just don't know how she can treat the one person who cares about her so callously, Melanie. I don't like the things that are done to her in this book. I don't wish that on anyone real or fictional. I just don't like how she manipulates everyone around her and tries to ruin Melanie's and Gabe's relationship. She needs to grow up.

Very touching

(Tease Me)I think this book touched me emotionally more than any of the others. This is a continuation of Adam and Madison’s story. Listening to all the struggles that Adam has because he is a recovering addict and emotionally scarred, really hits me in the gut. Especially when he makes himself vulnerable by opening himself up to Melanie; and all the struggles that Intel’s. This story and Tell Me are both set over the weekend that the band has off in and around New Orleans. So these stories run parallel to the last three stories.
In, Tell Me, Gabe and Melanie decide to spend Gabe’s weekend off in his hometown. Unfortunately, Nicci tried to crash their party be going to New Orleans, uninvited. Melanie finally puts her foot down and informs Nicci that she cannot accompany the couple on their weekend and she has to stay the weekend in New Orleans. Unfortunately, tragedy strikes Nicci, again, and Mel and Gabe’s weekend is cut short. Mel is left feeling guilty that she left Nicci in New Orleans and she gets hurt. Therefore, Mel is coherence into putting her relationship with Gabe on hold in order to sort Nicci’s life. However, during their alone time, Gabe finally opens up and Melanie gets to find out what Gabe’s Sole Regret is.
I’m enjoying the stories but it takes a lot of patience cause the series is progressing slowly. I’m trying to hang in cause and want to witness everyone’s HEA.

Olivia Cunning doesn't do "Happily Ever Afters"

If you're a fan of Olivia Cunning, you know that she does shy away from plot twists, difficult situations for the characters, and relationship conflict. This installment of Sole Regret does not disappoint! The supporting characters get a bit annoying- she wants you to like them in one story and hate them in the next (here's looking at you Lindsey and Nicky) to the point so much character development for them is superfluous and detracts from the relationship of the main characters. Other than that, Gabe and Adam are developed and sexy rock stars that make you excited to be along for the ride.

This is an interesting format for the series (short stories of each band member over the course of a few days) but I only wish the books would come quicker!

Love love love this serious !

I can't get enough of this series. Olivia cCunning knows how to write these books that keep you on you wanting more. My only complaint is that she doesn't write them fast enough. The characters captivate you from the get-go and you can't seem to get enough of them. I can't wait to find out more about Nikki and Owen and Lindsey. You won't be disappointed with this installment. Justine is an amazing narrator. She brings the characters to life with her voice.

dissatisfied, unfinished cliffhanger

this is part of a long series and everyone ends with a cliffhanger which would be okay if the series was complete. the last book came out in 2019, so I don't expect we'll ever get the rest. the writing is good, but very disappointed.
