I really liked it. It got better and better as u read. It was interesting, hot, sweet. The ONLY complaint is the narrator when he speaks as a female. The male voices were all fantastic. The females dont have good voices. I can ignore that. What I can’t ignore is how the females spoke in some situations. A lot of the time the female acting did not fit with what was going on. However, I still finished it because the story and male voices were great- and not all the female speaking had issues. The narrator just needs to work more on the females. I loved his voice. I hope that he can do more romance novels and work on how the women speak. Lots of male narrators have awful female voices but it is easy to get past it when the acting is done well. I will listen to this audiobook again. It was very interesting and worth listening to 🙂

I was breathing heavy with Bronson, tingling with Brockland and having to change panties with Carter but DANTE.. OH MY! And especially when Zachary brings his growl to life! Delicious and makes me want a one-way ticket to the Village! Hannah Shandel, you have ruined us for men who aren't Bachman!

This is my first Shanna Handel audio, and I can’t understand why I didn’t find her earlier! What a fantastic story! This Italian Mafia protector falls for his mission is just the perfect mix of hot, sweet and sexy. Dante is the man, the protector, the one who has a vulnerability to Adrianna’s wiles. Adrianna is innocent, yet curious and knows what she wants. I fell for this couple, and while the second in this series, easily stands alone, and let me live in their moments.

Narration for a book like this key. A voice that is deep and commanding is a necessity and Zachary Zaba is the perfect cast. He has the sound of the strong protector, giving us his authority and can turn it around with a steely passion that is impossible to miss. He portrays Adrianna easily, his voice easy to distinguish and feel the change in the emotions. He proved his worth with this one and I can’t wait to hear more!

This book was decent enough. I'm not sorry I used a credit on it. Obviously I'm luke-warm about it. The sex scenes were good, the love story was good too. The characters developed accordingly. It wasn't outstanding really, I didn't fall in love with the characters. The narration was good too.

I didn't think I could love the Baughmans any more than I already do, but I was so wrong!!!
Listening to their stories on audio books is beyond compare to anything. The narration makes it so much hotter and sexier. Don't hesitate to get it now. This series is everything!!!
Ariana and Dante's story is magical! It was so hot seeing Dante vulnerable to the love of Ariana!! The narrator was great. I voluntarily listened to a free copy and am giving an honest review.
