About this listen

If I didn't love her, I would kill her. I'd kill her for so much, but mostly for hiding my kid from me. For up and running, and choosing to keep my daughter out of my life. She doesn't just belong to Melody. She's mine, too, and Melody doesn't get to keep her to herself.

She said she ran because of me, because of what I did.

I can't blame her for that.

I f--ked up, and I might have lost the most important woman in my life, but I refuse to lose my daughter. Not when we haven't even had a chance.

Will fighting for my daughter lead me to winning back my girl's heart? I loved her for years and I always will. The only thing is, Melody doesn't exist anymore.

Only Rebel Rose does, and she's nothing like I expect.

Contains mature themes.

It was an ok story

I love CJ Bloom. She does a great job the male narrator was good but not right for the story. The story it’s self was all over the place.

Widow & Melody

Finally a strong FMC who doesn’t wait around sulking and moves on with her life. I’m happy Melody finally found someone who appreciates her and her child. Widow was a self righteous pig who cheated on Melody with her best friend and doesn’t know how to use condoms. He is a self-serving asshole,
a manwhore and a walking STD. Widow tried to have a relationship with Melody’s ex best friend when she became pregnant. He still admits he loves the other woman. MMC used the excuse Melody was too good for him to ease his conscious so he could party with other women, that should have been Melody’s choice. He never loved the FMC and I thought Melody should have made him work harder to be in his daughter’s life.
He didn’t deserve the title of “father” nor did he deserve Melody. Melody does get her HEA.

WTF

Widow is a d*ck and there is no redemption for him. Thank goodness Rebel found somebody better.

WTF?

I think its fair to say I wasted a credit. The storyline was confusing. There were multiple h’s without character development so the drama and supposed tension was meaningless. Just empty. No I would not recommend.

highly disappointed

I listen to the first four books of this series because they were included in my membership, I definitely will not pay for the remaining books. I had to end book 3 half way thru because there was nothing exciting about the story. Book 4, Widow, I thought was going to be good. I currently have less than an hour left in the book Chapter 25/33,widow and melody have interacted three times. There is absolutely no reconciliation going on between the two. In fact Melody just stated she is falling in love with the Russian???? Total waste of time. Unfollowing the author and have deleted all other books in my library waiting to be listened too.

No happy ending in this book

If you're looking for a HEA for the H/h, if you want to call them that, it's not in this book. They weren't together at all in the book.

So disappointing!! Not worth credit or money!!

The synopsis, as well as the cover art, was so misleading. NOT a romance between the two main characters. I wish I had read more than the first 2 reviews. The writing wasn't bad, the story was. Female narrator was awesome, but the male narrator was not a good fit for this character. The male character was a total tool and stayed a total tool.
