Adam is the founding Senior Pastor of Aletheia Church in Boston, MA — a multi-site, diverse church passionately committed to making disciples of Jesus who bring the truth, grace, and the changing power of the Gospel for the glory of God and the good of all people. Adam is married to his lovely wife, Hope, an amazing photographer, full-time educator, small-business owner, and mom extraordinaire. About 4 months after marriage, they were radically and unexpectedly called into ministry, moving them to Edinburgh, Scotland, to help plant two new churches. They labored alongside a great team for five years, had two more children, and saw God do amazing things. Today, two new churches stand where there were none — an extraordinary grace — thriving under great leaders. In 2010, they planted Aletheia Church in Boston. Fueled by a passion for God’s truth and grace, Aletheia began in their living room and has not ceased to grow and reach those who were once far from God. Adam now leads a diverse, disciple-making team that leads the church with him. Completing Master’s Degrees from Reformed Theological Seminary (M.A.) and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary (Th.M.), a D.Min from Gordon-Conwell, and a Ph.D. from The University of Aberdeen, he now serves on the faculty of Every Nation Seminary as the Professor of Theology and Biblical Studies. In demand worldwide as a teacher and preacher, he has also written multiple books and often teaches on the topics he writes about, including theology, philosophy, ministry, and ethics. Adam lives in Boston with his lovely wife, Hope. They have four awesome children: Alanna, Nora, Cole, and Wyatt.
