Adriana Barton is a journalist, a former staff reporter at The Globe and Mail, and the author of "Wired for Music: A Search for Health and Joy Through the Science of Sound" (Greystone Books). A blend of science and memoir, "Wired for Music" has been featured in The Boston Globe, Publishers Weekly, BBC Science Magazine's podcast and CTV's daytime talk show The Social. Her writing on health, science, visual arts, and pop culture has appeared in newspapers and magazines in Canada and the U.S., including Utne and the San Francisco Bay Guardian.
